This should not stop at press release. It should be followed with arrests, thorough investigation and prosecution.

The NSA and police should track those who pushed the fake news into the media.

It is fake news yet has made it to the Frontpage of Nairaland and some media platforms. It's very easy to track. A criminal, not a ghost, created the fake news and pushed it into the media with conniving unpatriotic elements.

I recall a time such fake news was eventually traced to a Vanguard newspaper staffer. There was no strong Cybercrimes laws then but now our Cybercrimes law has been strengthened and should be further tightened to nip the misinformation warfare in the bud.
Lol... But, you can't trace and arrest terrorists and their sponsors living in Nigeria, even using sim cards registered in Nigeria. tongue

They even post and tweet about their activities regularly on social media.

Just asking sir.
He has avoided every thread linked to that terrible update just like the other defenders. So heartless.

Debunking news, when they confirmed the suspect carry gun (Dane or not Dane) which law in Nigeria legalize gun for hunter??. All hunters I know always bury their weapon in the farm and not to bring it in a place that can cause caos or panic .. Nigeria government should be serious in fighting terrorism or else it will overcome them..they should ask isreal. why they don't want Palestinian state..they know all this extremist entitlement mentality

To the Government and it's stakeholders, Mazi kalu and the Biafra agitators are more of a threat than the activities of the Islamic terrorists and their sponsors operating in Nigeria.

Iswap, boko haram, bandits and other terrorists groups operating in Nigeria ONLY wants to islamatize Nigeria. They don't want separation and to the stakeholders of Nigeria that is less of a crime compared to the Biafra agitators who wished to separate themselves from Nigeria....

It doesn't matter if Nigeria is forcefully islamatize as long as we remain one nation, that is acceptable to the stakeholders. At least their interest is still intact.

But what they failed to understand is that the Biafra agitation is bigger than Nnamdi kalu and ipob.

The sentencing of Mr kalu will not stop the agitation for Biafra. It will probably help the agitators gain more sympathy and support across the globe and even within the country...

The Death of Ojukwu did not stop the agitation for Biafra what exactly made you guys believe that the incarceration of MNK will stop or negatively affect the agitation of Biafra ?

Personally, I think the agitators need to change tactics. They need to be less reactive and be more proactive especially outside of Nigeria and with leaders and Nations that are sympathetic to their causes.

They also need to be very very secretive and less emotional in their dealings both in and outside the country....

The image of this country is getting muddier in international space. The government is finding it difficult to salvage it. The whole world is seeing them as complicit on the security issues.

Yet, the government isn't taking the bull by the horn to address this issue. They rather send poster boys and mouth pieces like R. O'mockery and Am. Thuggery to defend their propaganda.

But why would the hunters comtinue moving around with guns, even if dane guns,in public at these tense moments.
Even for their own safety, it's pretty dangerous for them.
What if it were adults that first sighted them and raised alarm? That's how they would have been burnt to death like happened with those travelling hunters in Uromi, before anyone realises they were mere hunters and not kidnappers or terrorists.

If the terror attack on the CAC, Kwara State wasn't live streamed, the Nigerian security outfit, particularly the police would have debunked it. Evil people.

I pray it is not true. It's heart breaking that little kids are used as cannon fodders by bandits and this apc government.
But why should hunters with DANE guns be walking near a school premises instead of going to the bush?
Maybe the children looked like monkeys to them.
