Obviously the next president that is yoruba can not be from ogun state... It is obvious to see that.. that is what they are trying to tell you.

it boil down to who the state give contract, It means ogun state give his people state contract that why they are doing well. and ondo state dont do that. And who they give the political appointment in the federal cabinet and state.

The issue is the state most have a program to enrich its citizen.. And this is clearly what state like ondo state, osun for example are not doing.

17. Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti - THE FIRST WOMAN TO DRIVE A CAR, LED THE ABA WOMEN RIOT, ACTIVIST OF THE FIRST ORDERThis lady did not lead Aba women's riot, Margaret Ekpo led the Aba women's Riot

30. Hubbert Ogunde - STAGE THEATRE PIONEER(THE FATHER OF NIGERIAN NOLLYWOOD)This is the height of perfidy, this man is the father of Yollywood or yoruba wood , since when did Yourba wood become nollywood must people claim what is not theirs , there were a lot of African Novels and authors before Achebe came into the scene with Things fall apart , yet today he is acknowledged all over the world as the Father of African Literature because of the impact his Novel had on the literary world,Nollywood is an industry that spun out of the business venture of an igbo man desirous of trading VHS cassettes he imported in 1992

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinema_of_Nigeria
The release of the box-office movie Living in Bondage in 1992 by NEK Video Links owned by Kenneth Nnebue in the eastern city of Onitsha set the stage for Nollywood as it is known today. The story goes that Kenneth Nnebue had an excess number of imported video cassettes which he then used to shoot the first film.[7] The huge success of this film set the pace for others to produce other films or home videos. Through the business instincts and ethnic links of the Igbo and their dominance of distribution in major cities across Nigeria, home videos began to reach people across the country. Nollywood exploded into a booming industry that pushed foreign media off the shelves, an industry now marketed all over Africa and the rest of the world.[8] The use of English rather than local languages served to expand the market and aggressive marketing using posters, trailers, and television advertising also played a role in Nollywood's success.

Being serious now, Ogun state is not in the class of any state in Nigeria.

That state has produced the best of the bests in politics(Awo,Obj, MKO...) and the most vibrant activists
Entertainment Industry they dominates, took African Music to the world(Fela, Asa, Koko master......)
They've got the highest concentration of learning institutions and religion centers in the country.
Professors and brains in education they have them in thousands(Africas First winner of Nobel prize - Soyinka). Not sure of have the highest Professors between them and Ekiti.

How can I forget this: the most visited site in Africa is owned by omo Ogun grin (Seun Osewa) tongue
The state with highest amount of Billionaires in Nigeria in US$(Just Three in Nigeria and Two are from Ogun). angry

IF Producing a president in a country like Nigeria is a big deal then Nigeria has some real issues.
mind you igbos produced the first ever Governor General of Nigeria and the first President of Nigeria and C in C (Nnamdi Azikiwe the only Nigerian whose name was mentioned in the constitution), the first military head of states the first chief of Armys Satff (JTU ironsi), the first Senate president and first senate president to assume to position of president of Nigeria (Nwafor Orizu) which igbos don't go about counting as a big deal, Igbos produced the first President of an independent country which lived for 30 months and was recognized by Some countries. igbos actual regard producing first this and that in a failing country as a big loss

A situation where you go about fantasizing of some bogus under achievements, boasting about some phantom Billionaires who made their money from Government patronage and can not sustain that wealth when there is a change of Government
or boasting about an uproven advantage in having more medical doctors than other zones even when statistics prove other wise and coming to Nairaland to force people to swallow your figures without any convincing evidence is really appalling.

nothing
