festacman:Released on what grounds pls ![]() You guys are still persisting in this delusional noise. The man is a terrorist. The evidence is as clear as day. He didn't even try to deny it, rather telling us that he made his threats from UK so therefore Nigeria should free him. Lol. Delusional folks. Don't worry after his first 15yrs in prison, reality will settle. |

Why are you people deceiving the Igbos? The so called appeal court didn't acquit kanu, the appeal court only discharged the case on the grounds of how he was brought into the country . The appeal court did not at any time acquit kanu of the charges of terrorism. However the supreme court ruled that how kanu was bondled back is illegal but not enough reason to discharged the case and directed the case to return to the fed high court for trials. Please stop lying to Igbos to attract their sympathy for you dump them since all you guys knew best is to con Igbo people with the use of the word Biafra. You fake liars have done enough damage to the Igbo race. I challenge you to publish the CTC OF THE APOEAL COURT JUDGEMENT. And show us where the court discharged kanu and acquitted him from all the terror charges. |

DomPerignon:The judge addressed this issue. The judge was speaking to Ejimakor and Ejiofor, two of the lawyers that Kanu previously had. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fi__Zy7brWc?si=dVowigfKpdw78AId |

DesChyko:Then you living in delusion, the charges where glaring and the penalty were constituted. The government don't need to massage your delusion. Kalu case in most part of the world is treated with Life imprisonment, for count 1,2,5,6. With glaring evidence as presented, on wil doubt he could have escaped such sentences. The lies have being the bedrock on which those his amateur lawyers stands on. You can imagine one after the judgement accusing the Judge of declaring the judgement out of anger. Finally the cock have crow and the result is here . |

Let me tell you guys even if falana san and Jesus Christ come down to represent MNK there main aim is to imprisoned him. Even justice games omotosho finds it difficult to read his own judgement what does that tells you. The judgement have been written long before now. All the court process are just mere scripted processes just to fool the once they want to fool like majority of nairalanders |

wediehere1:Nnamdi Kanu’s whole trajectory has been… messy. Dude didn’t exactly take the “low-key activism” route — he went full megaphone, full dramatics, full “shake the table and flip it for good measure.” And honestly? That style was always going to put him on a collision course with the Nigerian government. No shock plot twist there. On his conduct: Kanu has always doubled down instead of backing down. He pushed hard, spoke harder, and operated like someone who assumed the system would blink first. Spoiler: it didn’t. When you combine fiery rhetoric, a loyal base, and actions the government interprets as a threat, you’re basically begging the state to pull out its “national security” card — and they did. On the convictions themselves: Nigeria tends to apply the law with vibes sometimes — heavy here, light there — so the whole thing has always felt politically charged, not just legally driven. It’s not that the government had zero grounds to go after him; it’s that the intensity and the way they went about it shows this was more than just “we’re enforcing the law.” It was “we’re sending a message.” And they sent it in capital letters. My take in one line: Kanu played high-stakes chess with the government, made some bold (and honestly reckless) moves, and the state responded exactly how a state tends to respond when someone keeps poking its ribs: aggressively and with maximum force. If Nigeria had better political conflict-resolution skills, we wouldn’t even be talking about this. But here we are. |

wediehere1:The point everyone must understand is that Nnamdi Kanu's conviction and sentencing is all predetermined and executed as planned, just like every Nigeria general elections. |

Nnamdi Kanu should also be scared about taking the case to appeal court because cross appealing from the prosecuting lawyers can lead to the death sentence to be uphold |

DomPerignon:Arrogancy in him would not let him apologise. Did u see him as someone whis sobber. The tittle of supreme leader they were calling him has entered his head. How can supreme leader be apologising to common man, that is what is running in his head. The only way out for him ia pardon, and that can be done if he's remorse and sobber about his action in the past |

Ejiofor, sometimes it better to keep your mouth shut than to engage in pseudo-triumphalism of 'I told you so'.. We know you are not happy that you were disengaged from MNK legal. Close your mouth. This matter was already pre-determined ab initio from the day InJustice Omotosho took over. A million brilliant lawyers wouldn't have changed the outcome.. Clearly, InJustice Omotosho did not play by the rules. |

When I saw his legal team members participating in the protest with Sowore, I knew Kanu was a goner! Anyway, they should find one yanriyan for him in Sokoto that will be charging his phone for I’m sure that is the main thing he will miss. A person that travelled all the way from the UK to Kenya just for the sake of kpetus! |

festacman:The Supreme leader cannot be advised especially by his people. He sees all of them as his minons and subjects below him. Not worthy to touch the helm of his gown. That is why he has no iota of respect for anyone of them. A man who openly said if he wants to play god he can, he decides who lives and who dies. If u had listened to his radio Biafra around 2015 you will understand. The way he talks rudely to his followers was alarming. He doesn't care about then, they must just obey him. How the people of South east extraction had made slouch a boastful and self centered , uncompassionate man their leader beats my imagination. Callers would call in his station, he will abuse their father, mother with all sorts of derogatory words and they still apologize to him. It has always been his way or the high way |

LottiOk:I decided not to comment on this sensitive matter - it is sensitive because people see him as freedom fighter but going by Ejiofor explanation why MNK failed. I have no option than to say my view. Well as many freedom fighters around the world most of them are condemned to death or life imprisonment in absentia. Many of them misused the cause they pursuing by arrogance and pride. People seem to repose much confidence on freedom fighters thereby deifying them as their messiahs or gods. Unfortunately freedom fighters dis misused such his people's confidence by killing them, maiming them, cannibalizing them and abducting them for ransom, destroying their farm lands, imposing sit at home and curfew of people they re fighting freedom for. This happens all over the world Nigeria is not an exception. It was only few of freedom fighters such as Nelson Mandela, etc did not kill his own people to create international impression. |
