My brother I didn't. After her family rejected me when the guy show face ..see when film start. Omo my eye blurry! The guy was abroad and that made the lie easy, no ring. Nothing to show. It was when she was pregnant the family adviced her to reach out to him since he promised her American green card, he came and slept with her and that's how they pinned the pregnancy on him and me too was shocked with the whole thing and laid back with serious shock especially after they rejected knowing me, see people I visited down to their village. Anyway the guy later knew since he had friends in the bank we worked to the extent he called me and I told him to sort things out with the lady, that I was lied to and knew nothing.

To cut the long story she lost me and lost the other man too,along with the green card they had their eyes on. Still a single mother and me I had to move on.

My daughter is 15yrs old now.

You should have gotten hold of your daughter if you are truly sure she is yours.

My brother it's not easy claiming a child outside marriage in igboland. Infact if the guy had continued in their marriage, the child is his own according to Igbo culture. Anyway she held on to her like her life depends on it, because that's all she has now. And I don't blame her.
