I am currently in an extended security meeting with our Service Chiefs, the Inspector-General of Police, Director-General of the DSS, and heads of our intelligence agencies here at the State House.

We are reviewing the latest reports and taking decisive actions to stabilise the affected areas and protect our citizens. I am receiving continuous briefings and have directed our security services to move with speed, precision, and absolute resolve.

As President, I am fully committed to the security of all Nigerians. Those who threaten the peace and security of our nation will face the full weight of the law.

Nigeria will prevail.

Instead a Brigadier was killed and now almost more than half of schools in the north have closed indefinitely due to insecurity.

Apparently, the situation is bigger than them, even bigger than the president.

Makes me ask the question; who is in charge of Nigeria?

This is a good report and sounds sweet on the surface but it's not the first time they have been having such meetings. Change of strategy is necessary.

The main solution is for Tinubu to address and tackle poverty, hunger, hardship, rural underdevelopment, high inflation, high costs of living, high rate of unemployment for they say an idle mind is the devil's workshop and an hungry man is an angry man.... and insecurity, kidnapping, banditry and criminal activities will reduce and stop

Yes. Very true. But these things you said are and should have been tackled since many years. The elites and their acolytes just stole the resources that would have been used for this and shared it among them leaving the majority wallowing in poverty as you rightly said. It is a collective problem between the elites and their followers or sycophants. So to remedy this will take time sir...it will take a sincere leadership that will not be interested in doing what other past leaders had done that is not stealing and promoting corruption or mediocrity..

....ok what about leader like Peter Obi..at least he can reduce the poverty, hunger, hardship, high inflation, high costs of living, high rate of unemployment to a certain minimum level which it will reduce insecurity, kidnapping, banditry and criminal activities...at least he should be given a chance and let see what he can do..he said he will turn Nigeria to a producing economy which this will create a lot of jobs for the youths and Nigerians and boost the economy and it will reduce and address all this problems Nigerians and Nigeria are going through
