I have attended for Chevron but it was online. Safe to say I have not written any Exam as hard as that before , hopefully Seplat own is not has technical has Chevron own . They were all scenario based questions and very technical calculations if you haven’t been active in the role advertised it will be very difficult. We were shown the question, you will solve and type calculations into the answer box and submit . This is the narration of one of the guys that took the test too . “ Good day everyone. Just wanted to put my status out there for those in a similar situation. Maybe we can connect.

I applied for the facilities and petroleum engineer positions, wrote the aptitude test, got invited to write both petroleum and facilities engineering skill test.

My experience with the petroleum engineering skill test was terrible. Wasn't mentally prepared for questions that technical, ran out of space to calculate on paper and was quite challenging given that I didn't study petroleum, chemical or process engineering.

The facilities engineering skill test was much better. There were 5 sections: electrical, mechanical, civil, process and project management. I spent a total of 4 hours and used up 7 pages of higher education paper to write my answers.

The petroleum and facilities engineer skills test were on Nov 22 and 23 respectively.

I just received an email now that my skill test is now scheduled in Lagos, Seplat house for the role of maintenance technician, you all should pls check your email

I got same email too, and I just booked flight for Uyo this afternoon

Omo urs serious oo, me just booked vehicle yesterday him dey vex me, but urs that is even flight ehhh....it is well. If only HCP had responded earlier than now, but still it's better than travelling to uyo, that journey long and person go spend much

I sent them an email stating this same reasons and insecurity on our roads, till today they didn't respond, called their line only for the lady to be saying it's only Uyo. I guess the different insecurity news made them change their mind

I did for Mtce technician (mechanical). It was purely practical questions on majorly pumps, compressors, gas turbine, some few questions on valves and safety. No single calculation, I don't know about electrical and instrument Mtce

Is it computer base test?, is it multiple choice or analysis?

I thought before they said interview will be on the 24th?

They said interview will be "the week starting Monday 24th, November 2025." So it can be any day of this week.

Just relax.
