How a yahoo boy used X to raise funds by pretending he is from Gaza in Palestine.

Re: How Nigerians Are Scamming On X By Claiming Who They Are Not by NairaX: 3:51pm On Nov 24, 2025
This is exactly what happens when a platform becomes the new “street.”
People forget that Yahoo didn’t disappear — it just migrated.

The sad part isn’t even the scammers; it’s how quickly Nigerians fall for anything emotional online without verifying a single detail. Somebody slaps “Gaza,” “sick child,” or “urgent help” on a post and suddenly everyone is a humanitarian.

Truth is, X has turned into a marketplace of identities — today Gaza, tomorrow Sudan, next week “orphans in Jos.”
Meanwhile the real victims never get the help.

Until people start demanding proof before donating, these fake sob stories will keep cashing out.

A large percentage of the donations are not from Nigerians.

The post only exposed a Nigerian operated account used for scam.

What will become of this country in the nearest future might be terrible.

Mark Zuckerberg has chased them from Facebook, instagram and WhatsApp. Now they’ve migrated to X.

I don't believe all that social media news report

has this kind of thing been helping us? Worse scammers are in the so-called developed world and they're the ones with websites where hacking tools and other vices are sold yet, we hardly hear of them.

Americans have been known to be fraudsters who claim to be Nigerians. Asian and European fraudsters, even other Africans who are not Nigerian people claim to be from here, saw one who claimed to be a Nigerian because he said that other people feared or respect Nigerians. How sick is that? undecided
