It's the responsibility of the PhD holder to advice the Etche LG chairman on what to do that will generate IGR so that they can be paid the kind of salary that they need as PhD holders.

It will be good if you change that mentality and thinking of you, because it's thinking of such that has made Nigeria not to truly develop and we have the North region depending on oil revenue from FAAC.

There are still many positions that M.Sc and Ph.D holders can do at the LG level. It's either Mr. Chairman is ignorant of this or plain mischievous. The fmr Director of Admin and General services in my LG was a Ph.D holder. There are HODs who have higher degree qualifications, which enables them climb the hierarchy faster.

. B. SC is the basic qualification anyone needs to find a job. All others are called additional qualifications , it's at your own discretion to seek for additional knowledge for personal purposes. It may or may not count as added advantage which typically depends on the employer. That's why jobs abroad always ask for what you can do practically...
A Bsc is adequate for most jobs.. then plus your experience in handling tasks properly.
