And is there any underlying health condition attached to just using one of your testes? Or the other one can carry on just fine?

Sequel to my last thread where I complained about a burning sensation in my testicle area, a lot of persons advised that I go for scan for a possible testicle torsion case.

I went for scan and ran all the possible scan from abdominal to testicle scan and nothing was found. The sensation stopped and I was found.

However of recent the burning sensation around my left testicle started again and sometimes I notice it moves up to my waist area in form of weird pains.

Please what do you suggest I do.

Please check symptoms of epididymal hypertension (blue balls) to be sure what you are experiencing is not similar. May God heal you.

What you have is Testicular Torsion and Detorsion.

You have the pain when there is torsion and the pain goes away when there's detorsion. See Urologist and tell them you suspect Torsion and Detorsion.

If you don't act fast, you might have Torsion alone that will lead to the death of your testis.

Follow up with your doctor. If nothing is found, your doctor might investigate for anxiety and deal with that.

I am suspecting anxiety related matters which at times bring unfounded pains.

I am not married yet , I av my erection like every other time , I still feel Hot and sometimes have good sex with my babe but when getting married I must inform any woman I intend been with .prior to marriage , it does not affect Fertility at all .Ask ur Gynecologist.or urologist

What's the right measurement and dosage for this pls? I've suffered testicular pain on my right testicle for more than 3 years now. It comes and goes but has been persistent lately. I've been jumping from one hospital to another but still no diagnosis up till now. Physical examinations always show that there are no swellings or lumps present. Urinalysis and testicular scan from a teaching hospital still show everything is ok with me, but pain is still there. Pls help me.

I will suggest that you consider the kind of pants/ boxers and trousers you wear. If they are so tight, then change them out. As a man, what you often wear can harm your testes. That region doesn't require too much compression or tight fit undies.

what were the symptoms u were having before going for the tests and treatments? I occasionally feel pain in my groin area too. I went to the hospital for checks and it's only abdominal & scrotal scans I'm yet to do. The urine and blood tests are negative!

Go for Prostate specific antigen test to be sure your prostate isn't inflamed

Your treatment should be gradual and require comprehensive investigations.
First, do a urine test to rule out a water infection, and you can start a course of Nitrofurantin 500mg.
Second, you need to do a complete sexually transmitted disease test to exclude that possibility.
The following investigations must be done: fasting glucose, liver function tests, kidney function tests, vitamin B12, folate, cholesterol, full blood count, thyroid function tests, and PSA.
3. Treat for prostatitis using ciprofloxacin.
4. If symptoms persist and results are clear, see a urologist.
A urine flow test should be recommended, along with a bladder and kidney scan as soon as possible.
Finally, a cystoscopy will be performed.
