We don't need state police. What we need is state military whose sole function will be the defense of each state so that they do not interfere in civil matters at all.

The united states has this set up. If every state has its own Army and Airforce or Navy Reserves....it will be extremely difficult for these terrorists with different cool names to thrive.

What of financial autonomy granted to both the state judiciary and legislature by Buhari government and LG autonomy and increased monthly allocations to the States by Tinubu's government are they no part of restructuring.

This is a good development from the south west governors. I commend them for not allowing their different political affiliation to dissuade them from coming together and chart a way forward concerning south west security.
