I bought a Nigerian local dog and she has been bubbling until of recent, I noticed she does not eat anymore, getting thinner and weaker everyday. She vomits and won't eat her food. I am scared because I love her but I feel I am losing her. I can't access a vet because there is none in my location. I would have believed that it is Parvo if she was a foreign breed but I don't know if Parvo worries local dogs too. Pls can someone tell me a drug to use to stabilise her until I can get Vet help. Samesame247:It may be worm infestation, if your dog is still eating meat and fish, get albendazole from a pharmacy store break it into 4 pieces ground one part and mix it with meat or fish and repeat the dosage 2 weeks later. Note albendazole not mebendazole And if the above suggestion does not work or your dog does not eat anything anymore including fish, take your dog to a vet clinic immediately 27 Likes |

If she also stools it's pavo..... It affects all breeds of dogs..... He life is in serious danger Visit a medicine shop and buy injectable ampiclox or and good broad spectrum antibiotics along with plasil and flagyl to control vomit and stool administr half a child dose ever 4 hrs. Make pap add milk and pour it into her stomach every 2hrs using injection syringe. Also give water the same way. 6 Likes |

Samesame247:To start with, give her dog can food. I bet you, nothing will stop her from eating that delicacy. Just that you gonna spend some dough. This will help resuscitate her strength before it's too late. You must look for a vet. I won't advice you to  do self medication unless you got some experience. |
