I just asked Uchenna my childhood friend & football team mate from barracks days if his cousin's business with about 5 2×2 shops is registered. He said "Regi gini?". When it comes to data, our brothers are underrepresented cos most of them hate law and order ![]() |

[quote author=kglamour post=137597441]BUSINESS OWNER PERCENTAGES ACROSS NIGERIA’S GEOPOLITICAL ZONES South West — 59.8% North West — 51.0% South South — 50.8% North Central — 49.5% North East — 43.3% South East — 39.0%[/quote The major takeaway here is that the Ndigbo have less registered business names and as such have been robbing the entire Nigeria state by not paying taxes or avoiding taxes where due be it federal, state and local taxes. |

Tjra:No kidding. Yorubas have always been well structured and they are among the civilizations with early departure from the disorderly lifestyle closer to lower animals. They had proper system of leadership and governance, backed by proper military structure. Too bad a chunk of the newer generation have mixed with the wrong crowd, and are now drifting back to the style of lower animals. |

odejimioflagos:Dey play.... SouthWest natives in this statistics are only very few. Majority of the business owners living in the SouthWest...Lagos in particular... are Nigerians from all Ethnic groups. But talking about Business owners living and operating from all over Nigeria, there's one major Ethnic group everyone knows... I need not mention which tribe it is. You already know. |

Yes, Yorubas are the dons of real and legit business in Nigeria. From Ijebus, to Eko Aketes, to Egbas, to Oyos, to Ijeshas, Ondos, Ogbomosos, Ifes, Aworis, Eguns etc, it's a long history of trade and commerce spanning the coast and hinterland of West Africa and mostly based on integrity and strong values. Effortless trading, no do or die .DmonSlayer10: |

DeLaRue:This lengthy writing to prove what is not and will never be. Imagine writing that Benin City looked dilapidated even as your base is Ibadan. Just search brown roof republic in Nigeria on Google and you will have it - Ibadan. Forget the online nuisance you guys constitute here and there, Oyo State is way below Edo State in any index of human development not compiled by your fellow Yoruba. Again, to say that Edo is a one-city state is misleading. I challenge you to name any part of Oyo outside the state capital that matches Ekpoma in terms of development and commerce. Rest; |
