mascot87:You are perfectly correct. The forum is only for the interest of the wealthy and mighty in the south and not particularly about southern good. |

richiemcgold:U WNAT TO PRETEND U HAVE NOT BEEN DEMOLISHING IGBO PEOPLE HOME AND BUSINESSES IN COSMOPOLITAN LAGOS. DO U WANT ME TO START POSTING HATE SPEECH FROM YOUR OBA AND PPOLITICIANS? Y DO U ENJOY DECIEVING YOURSELF? THERE IS A WORD CALLED IRRECONCILABLE DIFFERENCES, WE HAVE REACH THAT POINT AND FROM HERE, IT IS TO YOUR TENT O ISRAEL. |

Tjra:You can continue deceiving yourself. Maybe the attack on Igbo businesses and Igbo people on election days in south west was only online. |

chiagozien:How can you judge an entire tribe by the actions of a few paid Political thugs? Those pockets of acts are random and not a reflection of over 40M people. You know this if you are true to yourself. |

thesolutions:You sound like a bitter and hateful child because critical-thinking and pragmatic Nigerians should know adult leaders, even if they hate each other, can join hands and work together to tackle problems with existential threat. Most leaders are not emotional and petty folks who cut their nose to spite their face. Majority understand the need to focus on solution and work with whatever/whoever facilitates solutions. |

State Police and arming the vigilantes should be priority because the military has failed woefully. |
| Re: Ogun Hosts Southern Governors Forum Meeting Today by thesolutions(m): 1:13pm On Nov 26, 2025 |
WizardOfNG:Coming together only for existential threat is only temporal. If the threat is eliminated, then what. The South currently holds the number one and number three political office. What threat do they have that they can not influence and tackle? But pretense is trying to enforce unity for media ops while the main issues remain unattended to. Oh that's being bitter. What a game. You already won. |

A better and more productive forum will involve those directly affected by insecurity including potential victims at the grassroots and service providers that will tackle the prevention or the fallout not just groupings if leaders most of whom are not in touch with the realities on ground. I cannot see how this top to down approach will be effective in the learning and application process of policies, programmes and strategies. But I can understand that the feudal nature of our society is geared towards an parties between the leaders and the led. Even the process of budgets, economics, investments, etc will never consider the man on the street. It is made by and for those in office. A spoon feeding of the nation. Then tomorrow they will come out with their tired cliches when under pressure that, security is everyone's business. |

After jailing an Igbo leader who only spoke about the attacks of Igbos in Lagos, they proceeded into attacking and killing Igbos in the Lagos elections. Thereafter, they boasted of taking over Igbo properties and went on to start demolishing businesses and properties that belong to Igbos even with all relevant documents. The next big one is the kangaroo judgement of an all Yoruba affair in the jailing of the most influential Igbo leader presently and taking him to the headquarter of a common adversary at a critical time like this. What more do Igbos need to see before they understand these people? Nothing more to see. |

Reference:This is just a cup of tea drinking exercise with the usual media hype, at the end of the day they pose for the camera with smiling faces and some bold claims with no impacts in reality. Forum of jokers. We better get back to regionalism where each region was responsible for its own progress and important decisions are taken by representatives at the local level. |

If Dapo Abiodun had any shame, he would have shifted this meeting to either Lagos or Ibadan where roads are more motorable and road travelling is painless. All Dapo does day-in-day-out is pose for camera. He doesn't understand the basic concept of governance and totally bereft of ideas. The man is a colossal failure. |
| Re: Ogun Hosts Southern Governors Forum Meeting Today by WizardOfNG: 3:14pm On Nov 26, 2025 |
chiagozien:Whether you immature and emotional people behave means nothing. Yorubas handle their business. Right now, only Yoruba governors have convened a security trust fund to fight insecurity while it always appears the SE has no leadership at all. Amotekun is the best and most professional complementary security force to the NPF today and even waxing stronger. Whereas Ebebeagu that your reactionary ,weak and lazy Governors copied Amotekun to form is disbanded today for robbery, extra judicial killing, extortion, human rights abuse etc. If you think you are somehow harming the responsible and solutions-driven Yorubas by refusing to do what is in the greater good of society, same as you destroyed the SE believing you are causing Buhari discomfort, then Yoruba leaders have no problem ignoring to get it done anyway, as they always do, while you people will continue to eff up like toddler with your insufferable immaturity and spiteful idiocy |

MEGAWATCH:Yeah, but who has been supporting the North since independence? Zik supported tafawa balewa in the first republic whilst Ekeuame was the supporting act to shehu shagari. Even, ojukwu after sacrificing millions of his people in the civil war, came back from exile, to campaign for Shagari. This was the guy who said the only time he will ever have anything to do with the northerners, is ONLY on the battlefield. He ate his words!!! |
