That's a very poor conclusion. The way some people reason gives me goose pimples. Do you know whether he's destined to survive and have breakthrough in the UK? Is it your Nigeria that people are paying ransomes and being murdered upandan that's better to endure?

In 5 years time, he’d buy that house of he wants.
The difference will be his family will be safe and enjoy the benefits of the tax he pays

That's 1milion naira plus in a month

Now that Europe is having problem. Once all African countries decide to stop all European nations from stealing our resources I believe we will all understand that Europe is nothing without Africa, by that time this man will be looking for a way to come back home but for now I wish you good luck

Re: Nigerian Man Sells His House In Lagos For N60m, Relocates To UK by Pootle: 5:12pm On Nov 26, 2025
he gets there and spend the next 5years looking for the same 60m to rebuild the same house that may now cost 100m, hustling without proper sleep and shuffling between jobs.

in return the UK system provide him with steady light, security and cheap food but expensive accommodation. all this just show how human want are insatiable and will continue to look for more.

I pray the 2 kids get accepted by the UK govt for permanent residency or as citizens. With that, the man would recover and regain whatever losses he suffers currently.
He must have taken such decision with some serious considerations.
