Government in collaboration with the north are encouraging insecurity in the north and middle belt. They call these series of crime different names and to make the matter worst they say they are using non kinetic solution. Meaning that they are paying this people for committing heneous crime. So the guys have seen these crimes as a way of cashing out for northern youths.

This could lead to a serious problem for this country because by the time southerner and middle belt youths join the crime created by the north, kasala go burst o. The northern youths currently doing kidnapping, bokoharam, banditory and similar crimes believe they have an exclusive right to such crimes but this is a big lie. Anybody who have access to weapons can do the crime even better than the northern youth.

I hope government is giving this a consideration.

The problem with Nigeria leaders is that they think, that Nigerians are mumu. What is meaning of shouting dead sentence to a kidnappers and give option to reduce the sentence with option of fine. Who is deceiving who? If Trump say disgrace country we react.

Who do this to Nigeria... Where is the law. Option of fine from the kidnapped ransom? Is easy to believe is typing mistake but will be surprise when the issue raises in court.

What about corruption? Without the death penalty for corruption in high places Nigeria is going nowhere. But I know they are all guilty or potentially guilty so they won't try such.

The problem has never been the severity of the punishment.

The problem is that perpetrators know they won't be caught and punished. The clear up for these crimes is poor.

Achieve a clear up rate of at least 80% and lock them up these criminals, and trust me, the numbers would plummet before you say "Jack Robinson."

The bandits and kidnappers, especially the former are so vrazen that they believe they are untouchable.

It's only in Nigeria that national assembly praise president or Thierselves for doing what they are supposed to do.

I have never heard other countries like the western countries praising Thier president because he did what he's elected for.
