Why should I tell how much is in my account...as who?

That all the people with families you know who lives abroad are struggling, does not mean it is same for everyone.

One who is a Senior Clinical Practitioner (Grade 12) working full-time (36hrs/week) as a permanent staff of a borough in Central London, is not suffering.

That monthly minimum wage your relatives in Nigeria earn, is what I earn under an hour for online psychotherapy sessions, which is my online side hustle....if e easy to be a UKCP and BACP accredited Psychotherapist, go run am and see if you will still be financially broke.
one in a thousand. The topic said 60M which means he definitely came through school. He still has a long way to go. You're into healthcare. how many people are like you? You know what it takes now to have COS for families. Abi you dont read the news lately?

I would put it in Treasury Bills or borrow it to different loan apps. I only survive with the interest which is 15% each year. So each year I get ₦9m

I am not extravagant. ₦700k a month is more than enough (especially as no transportion cost to work)... Of course, if their is any small side-hustle, I would invest wisely. Lay back and relax.
All the while hoping and praying you don't get kidnapped and robbed of all you got for ransom payment

Nope, the man is someone with foresight! Is it not better to "suffer" in the UK (with stable electricity, good Schools for his children, smooth roads, good hospitals, etc) than to allow some filthy, uncultured, smelly Cow-fkcukers to come and molest your wife and children, while tying you and asking you to watch at gun point? huh huh

He cares and is planning for the future of his children.
Now, whether his Wife will, or not abuse that foresight and take advantage of the man once they settle in the UK, ... it is most likely.

But he would better himself all the same, it is better than being kidnapped for ransom or being shot by one Teenage Fulani Herdsman.
This one that they are asking for #1.5Billion Naira ransom, what if the Govt refuse to pay , how will his House hep him at that point?
What if the Terrorists even collect the money and still kpai him?
What if he ran inside a Church and they still come in and Kpai his whole family there?
What if he ran into the House of the President and..... These Terrorist Fulani Herdsmen are becoming to emboldened, Walahi.

Will he be sleeping in all those Three Months? Wont himself and the Wife Work and make some Pounds Sterling to cushion their expenses?
If you think his decision is wrong, just go and look at the Queue in any of the Western Embassies in Nigeria, you will coordinate sharp-sharp.

That Man will come back in less than three years time and buy a Property double what he sold, as long as he stays grounded.

But why should a person be complaining of paying tax, when you can see clearly what is being done with the tax. Sequrity, good water, 24/7 electricity, good health care system, you can afford to eat anything you want.
well maybe when you find yourself in such climes, you will understand better that most of the tax policies of the govt of UK is more unfavourable to the migrants and just like I mentioned, they keep making policies that discourage migration.

Someone that worked in the same Nigeria and was able to build a house in Lekki, is definitely not poor.
Most times, it's pressure from their wives. I have friends who are now regretting their actions as the omen found better jobs while the men who were heads of department have to stoop so low to do menial jobs.....with lower pay. They were the sole provider, but the case has changed as such there are 2 captains in the ship. Some have even separated temporary for because of unending crisis.

You have a very faulty and perverse line of thought! Chai !!!

What is the probability of these negative thoughts happening to the average Nigerian? Wow!

You people live in fantasy land. You will experience serious depression and hopelessness in that UK, and your hardworking friends you left in Nigeria will be miles ahead of you.

5K job in america is very easy to get.
canada of 10 years ago could easily offer him 5k, but canada of today is no somehow.
forget uk or europe, 5k job in those countries na war.
another country that can easily offer him 5k is australia.

The only way to break even in uk is thru loan, they offer generous loan with a reasonable time to pay. That was how I built my second house in naija and I paid back the loan within 4 yrs.
canada make sense only if u have a stable job and u are PR- however, stable job is no longer guaranteed in present unstable canada economy. Trudeau almost wrecked that once prosperous country b4 he left.

but selling a 60million naira house to gamble it in uk no make sense at all. That's 30 thousand pounds, even british will look at him like 'is he cray?'
I am talking about today while you are talking about yesterday. Things have changed my friend. Going abroad will offer a man zero benefits in the next 5 years. The west don cast!!!

Hmmm very true and a very common experience. These men won’t make 60 if not careful. It is why we have too many broken families over there. Infact the dynamics between men and women have changed. Marriage has become obsolete and highly risky for a man.

Goodluck to people sha!

Nobody is forcing anyone to leave the country. Certainly not someone who sells his house for 60m. There are people coming back the other way too - who is forcing them to return?

Everyone is responsible for the decisions they make. That how adults think.

Ok we all have self delusions to make the world more palatable. Ignorance is bliss.
7 of the 8 billion people on this planet don’t know Jesus or God.
There is no God in advanced countries. It’s just a concept in the periphery of society.
