Roland17:
We are aware that since the evolution of mankind no hat, face cap, fedora, head-warmer or even isi-agu has fit that monstrous thing Kompany carries above his shoulder. We are also assured that the weight and shape of that head doesn't necessarily translate into tactical brilliance. That head was not big enough to save poor Burnley from relegation neither will it save you from the ruthless beating you will receive on Wednesday.

Furthermore, my lousy and noisy neighbors from the West are what we call "Obere Scouts". They were not our emissaries on the night you slayed them, rather, we enjoyed watching them getting reminded they still have 2-3 years before they can join the big boys. Those "Bebe-scouts" aka "Taitu contenders" have become silent after watching us demolish their peer yesterday, despite sitting 2nd.

As long as you are parading Upamechanic, who is nothing but the 2nd coming of a Black Mustafi in his prime, I will scotch you endlessly on Wednesday. Infact, why not get permission from UEFA to wear Spuds jersey in place of yours and see if the violent beating no go pass say I put tire for your neck with a sprinkle fuel and light una to bones!

That una highline will be your highway to hell this time around.

Prepare your bandages and wheelchair because there is no peace for the wicked.
Olise looked ordinary and Gbane? Hahahaha

On to Sunday.

What a good time to be an Arsenal fan. I know we haven't won anything yet but this set of players will deliver the major trophy we have long been craving for. Thank you Bertha and Arteta for assembly these players. Special thanks to the board for their support.

Make I shout out Arteta because He did everything right today.

His selection, in game tactics, game management, substitutions and timing of substitutions were immaculate. He used Merino to neutralize their high press, allowing the wingers to roam across the line. We looked disciplined without the ball. Also with Bayern high press, he did not gamble with playing from the back..just “bude” the ball Raya..

With the game tied, he did not tuck his tail and play for a draw. He showed courage and chased the game because we were by far the better side. He also showed he has learned a thing or two about playing against Bayern. He didn’t employ the high line or look to match Bayern’s intensity/ pace in the first half. We kept a good line and pressed when needed, which led to the 2nd goal.

I won’t stop talking about “what if we continued with Martinelli transition to a CF” after Ebening? Man would have been so refined as a finisher.

On to Sunday

Berthasurely deserves a lot of praise for his speed and ruthlessness at handling transfers. He was able to get the deals done.

But you see, our primary problem at Arsenal isn't getting deals done. It is actually having the money to do the deals.

I said here last year or two about the Kroenkes having not invested in the club.

That lack of investment was what made us not to have the depth to cross the line to the title.

For example, last season in January Man City spent over 300m to push the team from 5th to 3rd. Arsenal on the other hand was second place and guess what, there was 0 spending to get the club to challenge Liverpool for the title.

What is investment? It is having to spend without having need to sell. Last summer was the only transfer window where we spent 200m without having to sell anyone. For me, that was what made the difference.

I have been criticising the Kroenkes for not in investing, so now that they have, I should praise them.

Including Zubi, they tried midfield play then fast break/ transitioning e didn't work they kept losing the ball before they switched to long ball to bypass the midfield which works for them momentarily...

Zubi was massive yesterday...

Is it early to say Zubi is an upgrade of Partey.

Too early.
To me, he hasn't matched Partey's level yet

It's early for me cos Partey is our Chale/brother and he served us well bar his injury issues... But with Zubi, we are less susceptible to counter attack / transitional play this days

I would have kept Partey bar his legal issues for depth/rotations cos Zubi can't get injured now else we might start struggling ( Norgaard with what I have seen so far is very far from his level)...

Way too early for me. I’d admit he has looked terrific over the last few games but Partey was something else.
