I recall reading back then Wale Oke's full side of the story and his detention. The EFCC has also dropped charges against him further emphasizing that he is innocent. Period.

If the senate has integrity they should not accept Ayo Oke as ambassador.
Our fight against crime and corruption will be a joke if they accept him.
Someone that should be in jail with an unresolved scandal should not be offered an ambassadorial position.

Yeah the circumstances are still controversial because the owner of the $43m was not reported to the court and not found yet they withdraw court case. This is because they have been compromised.
