Was Ambassador to South Korea. Full stop

Evidently a puff piece to blow up a scanty profile. We know all the LinkedIn techniques grin

Nothing about education too is suspicious.

Trust me, a long-term beneficiary of HF nepotism.

It's totally improper for you to refer to Ayo Oke (who served with the National Intelligence Agency or NIA) as a "crook" based off of these vandalized articles, non-credible and biased Wikipedia entries including posts made by known ethnic bigots trolling around and highly uninformed NL posters.

I recall full well reading back then Ayo Oke's full side of the story and his detention leading to a major media trial. The EFCC has also dropped charges against him further emphasizing that he is innocent. Period.

I don’t have problems with this man. But
If the senate has integrity they should not accept Ayo Oke as ambassador.
Our fight against crime and corruption will be a joke if they accept him.
Someone that should be in jail with an unresolved scandal should not be offered an ambassadorial position.

Yoruba's and Igbo's are also excellent diplomats too.

He's still an ambassador designate. Don't be surprised if he's later posted to Togo or Somalia.

Chairman, you are carried!

10 gbosa for you!

I was just about to say this is a regular profile that has been unnecessarily inflated.

No Academic portfolio
No State profile to show his diplomatic evolution

Only one Diplomatic assignment (that could have been selection based) dasall.

Naija indeed.

Yeah the circumstances are still controversial because the owner of the $43m was not reported to the court and not found yet they withdraw court case. This is because they have been compromised.

Funny that you are "thinking" and not "knowing."

Because you KNOW the truth.

But here is the catch: those guys don't even care about y'all.

They see y'all as a t o o l aggainst the other part of the South until they are done.

Another Mattawale type of educational background, shame on the drug barons in power. And one mumu uphere says they are excellent diplomats. Folks not qualified enough to work in a call center posted as ambassador.

Efcc dropped charges against him not because he’s an apc man? Don’t forget that when you join APC all your sins will be forgiven and you’ll become new. Thanks to oshobaba.

I just logged in briefly from my schedule and saw your mention.

I don't have the time to start rehashing Ayo Oke's full story which is already in the public domain if you are internet-savvy enough. BUT you can read these two article right BELOW to get a proper hang about how the EFCC (with the full knowledge of the former President Muhammadu Buhari) dropped the charges against Ayo Oke after Ayo Oke conclusively showed Magu (who was the EFCC boss as of 2017) that the 43 million kept in a safe haven apartment on Ikoyi Island as of 2017 was NOT from the proceeds of "crime or corruption" BUT for the official covert intelligence gathering operations of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) which is the equivalent of the CIA dealing largely with international intelligence operations. The DSS deals more with Nigerian-basef intelligence operations.

A lot of the young posters casting IRRESPONSIBLE aspersions and negative comments on this thread about Ayo Oke are majorly recognizable monikers of those from the South East of Nigeria (and the other thread created on Ayo Oke's profile by that moderator) who have an agenda to relentlessly defame and demonize the current Nigerian President based on their usual tribalistic biases.

Unknown to these insidious posters who don't read widely enough, the former Director General of the National Intelligence Agency Ayo Oke had long been exhonerated of ANY crimes even before the former President Muhammadu Buhari left. So, it wasn't even President 'Bola Tinubu that had a hand in the EFCC exhonerating and dropping the charges against Ayo Oke.
