The Governor has no power over any of those personnel undecided
say only what you know. They can only disobey the governor when there is a superior order from the GCFR... The governor heads the state security council and disburse security votes to each of them as he deem fit. That line that governor doesn't control them is only used by irresponsible governors who want to take attention away from themselves.. but they know how to use them to quench protesters..

Is the deputy governor not part of the meeting?
Both at the federal level (vice president) and state level (deputy governor) the deputy does not usually attend the security council meeting, but he could attend if he is needed.

WHY DON'T YOU LEAVE ISSUES OF THE SOUTHWEST ALONE AND FACE YOUR OWN REGION OF THE SOUTH EAST huh

Your lust for other people's lands is sickening.
I am not into issues of Ogbomosho, Akure or Okitipupa..
As you are well aware by now, Lagos is our NO MANS LAND. A collective property of ours! I have a right as a Nigerian to run my mouth on Lagos issues because every inch of Lagos was built with our collective patrimony.
Like I always educate toddlers like you, if you don't like this, declare your Oduua Republic, get a flag and an anthem and we are good to go..
But as long as Nigeria subsists, we are all Lagosians..

Read the write-up above.. Army, Airforce, Navy, Police, DSS.

Go back to school!
Why would you respond to someone that can't read, write and comprehend? Do you think he'll be able to understand your response? Just look at his two posts on this thread.

🤣 the bot has hidden his second post.

Bro, they only use fixated mindset to respond to any positive news. Even if they read and comprehend, the bitterness in them will always give them out

It depends on what's being discussed.

For example, if the Ember months are approaching and they want to plan how to manage traffic during the period, then LASTMA could be invited. LASTMA could also be invited if there's any other major issue that significantly impacts traffic in the state.

Hey bro, at the Federal Level, the Vice President is a statutory member and Vice Chairman of the National Defense Council and National Security Council. In fact, he is the Vice Chairman of every statuory body that the President chairs.

Everybody has woken up. Thank u Trump. Now we know why some people were kicking against his government and some people praying 4 it
Lagos has always been serious about security, nothing to do with Trump. From Tinubu's RRS to Fashola to Ambode. They all dealt with any security menace without crying or playing games with the FG or looking for how to increase their security votes.

Photos with people that he cannot direct, order or command. People that are not answerable or accountable to him. Funny country.

The rumpus in the Legislature yesterday and on the airwaves this morning about the Abaribe inquest into who ordered the withdrawal of security officials just before the the mass abduction at the school is enough proof that the structure you see represented in the pictures above is not fit for purpose.

Till now the governor of that state has not gotten an answer and may never get one. Will Mr. Sanwo Olu get an answer if as they say 'the s**t hits the fan.
Well this is one of the areas where Lagos is simply different from other states. In Lagos there is what we call the Lagos State Security Trust which is a pool of private funding that goes toward equipping and taking care of security officers under this body. This helps to ensure that they are usually well motivated to respond to the security needs of the State.

The vice president is the deputy head of state and usually represents the president when he is not available, but the vice president does not usually attend security council meetings.

In fact, some people that don't know have tried to stir controversy because of this. They claimed that President Buhari was sidelining Vice President Osinbajo because the vice president did not attend a security council meeting.

The fact is that the vice president (at the federal level) and the deputy governor (at the state level) do not often attend security council meetings, but they sometimes do.
