I remembered very well, one Easter Monday morning, going home from ajegunle, two men,one elderly and one in his mid 40s... It seems the elderly man still remembered the face of one of the robbers, incident that happened 8 to 10yrs ago, the elderly man started talking about the robbery and faced the other man, and asked him,did you remember, naso the man became violent that everyone was like brother na question he asked, it became too serious and elderly man said, I knew it was you... some elderly people remembered the robbery as the man was narrating it, when I got to my stop, me and my bro walking down to our street concluded that the guy was actually the one....

My advice, like we always say whatever is worth doing is worth doing well, there dogs who would die for their owners, so if you are planning to get a guard dog, get informed, prepared for the bills, get your psyche ready to accommodate four-legged housemate and most of all get the right breed, then leave the fight to the fighters.

Oga it is better to have it even if it is just a shotgun than to have nothing. I knew someone back in the day that ended the lives of 4 robbers in my estate, all with a shotgun. Head the noice, waited for them to climb over the fence and then opened fire in them. Another fellow after beating him and his wife, lead him to his underground room to get his valuables, he was able to dash into a room quickly, grab his gun, unfortunately the robber got to him and grabbed the gun but from the barrel side, baba squeezed the trigger and blew out the man's stomach! The man ran shouting oti pami, his colleagues carried him and abandoned him down the road, he had taken the room temperature challenge. Years later that same baba that shot 4 dead, his son also came to the rescue of a neighboring house, just as this people were screaming for help in the video, he heard and came out, had a gun duel with the group of robbers, shot one dead and turned the foot of another to a stump.
I recommend arms be immediately legalized, not just shot guns but pistols, rifles etc. We now have a national database with bvn, Nin etc, licenses will be issued to properly vetted citizens.

Certain categories of guns are legalize for individuals, subject to obtaining the license from the state commissioner of police, through the police division wherein the individual is resident.
