The Imo State Police Command has invited the CEO of TMT Travels & Tours Ltd, Ifeanyi Onukwubiri, for questioning following “allegations of visa fraud and obtaining money under false pretence” levelled against him by several complainants.

A statement issued on Friday by the Police Public Relations Officer of the command, DSP Okoye Henry, said the invitation followed a directive by the state Commissioner of Police, Aboki Danjuma, who ordered an investigation into the allegations.

He noted that at least nine Nigerian passports have been recovered from the company.

“The Command appeals to the public to remain calm, assuring that efforts are ongoing to recover funds paid for visa services as well as any additional documents belonging to affected persons. Citizens are also cautioned to exercise due diligence when engaging in visa or travel schemes. Further details of the investigation will be communicated in due course.

“CP Aboki Danjuma reassures Imolites of the Command’s commitment to justice, public safety, and protection against fraudulent activities,” the statement added.

lol, I suspected he was a not genuine(fake) the 1st day I met him, went to his office as someone refered me to him, man was outrightly rude, questioning why i came physically, said that they only do online correspondence, I knew just then that it was a ploy to avoid physical interaction and questions that will reveal his ignorance and lack of genuine character, I should write you guys a mail when I spent time a and resources to visit their physical office so that will feed me carefully scripted travel scam formats... , I went online, did my homework to see testimonials and online presence as their would be a lot of buzz if they where legit, saw nothing tangible, just plenty pictures of him famzing with celebrities and popular people, I did say hello on their Whatsapp platform after it was sent to me by my referee, they sent their form, and it was so petty, just ignored them... To those who didn't read well, I was careful to not call him a fraud, that's for the law to decide...

I haven't met him physically before but I perceive him to be an arrogant person. As a business person, just few bad reviews can ruin your reputation and labour of years. Don't joke with building trust.

The only person that have the 100% legal jurisdiction to guarantee you a country's Visa is the country's President and maybe the Ambassador of the country who represents the President.

Have you heard of the word accomplice? Fraud is not one man running everything.

I know someone that does same business, they won't tell you that it isn't guaranteed, so you won't have a second thought, since you are their client and you're expected to patronize them.

I heard that the number of his identified victims are over 270 people, with upto 500 million naira collected from them by the fraudster.

But the police says otherwise
That guy na criminal simple

If you want to travel you should first of all open a dormicnary account it could be dollar, pounds or euros (sha open at least one) and get a dollar debit card.
If the agent tells you their fee, tell them that you'll pay 30% to 40% and when your visa is out you'll pay the balance.
Source your POF yourself.
All payments should be done by you using your card.
In Nigeria, there are more fraudulent travel agents than legit ones.

This post just reminds me of how Cool Global Interlinks Limited Ibadan defrauded and held my money for 1 year six months.
All these fraudsters would successfully apply for one person, use that success story to lure people to defraud them.
I was able to collect my money bit by bit after threatening to use the law to collect my money from him.
Thank God that i recorded everything conversation i had with him from the first day and i never gave him cash all transactions both naira and dollars were done through bank.
The story long but the painful part for me is that i closed my business to pay him that money.
Most of these fraudsters have connections with police officers, military officers and have celebrities.
There are more fraudulent travel agents in Nigeria than legit ones.

He can be considered a fraud if you know a visa is most likely not going to be given but you assure your customers that you guarantee they'll receive it

Also invite zidora travel and tours led by one chioma and the evil husband, they are scammers and fraudsters.
They scammed me of my hard earned money some years back, I pity anyone still using this fraudulent travel agent
