Kobojunkie:I knew you won't be able to answer those questions, you can see the difference between us now, you rely on Google to approach an issue, while I rely on real life situation or practical experience to do the same. The earlier you understand that Google only bring people posts/opinions for you as answers (which in most cases could be wrong), the better for you. I have personally seen my posts numerous time on Google search, does that made me an expert or best answers to such issues? If you can't take your time to get practical knowledge/experience from those who are concerned, you have no right to question my practical knowledge because you lack the same and only depends on others through Google( in which their opinions could be right or wrong). Until you tell me what is wrong in thinking like Nigerian, or why do you believe thinking like Nigerian is bad, you don't have point but to keep wallowing in whatever thinking mentality you believe is right. |

guobe:You're wasting your time responding to this guy trying to justify bad behavior. I'm suspecting he's the guy in this story or he's doing same thing. |

Offpoint1:Their reactions shows that they will do same to their parents too. A parent that fed you when you were a baby, you suckled your mum crying, flight to the abroad was also paid by your parents and you went abroad and say they are now bad people. How pathetic can one be. |

SpencerForbes:and does that stop him from sending money home or attending his parents funeral? |
| Re: He Went Abroad And Got Lost by Nobody: 12:21pm On Nov 29, 2025 |
ultraviolet27:The clear answer is No. But we all think differently. We might not know what he’s passing through. Financially, emotionally or psychologically. Sometimes bills and other utilities can be so choking you wouldn’t even want to receive calls or he might just be plain selfish. |
| Re: He Went Abroad And Got Lost by ultraviolet27(f): 12:22pm On Nov 29, 2025 |
budaatum:But his parents and siblings weren't toxic when they were gathering money for him to travel abroad? even if his mum is a witch she didn't use it kill him when he was a toddler then she is a good witch |

| Re: He Went Abroad And Got Lost by Kobojunkie: 3:01pm On Nov 29, 2025 |
yemmit90:Ah, I see! So, empirical studies that show that adults carry on unresolved traumas from childhood which influence decisions that make even into their later lives are all opinions and in most cases are wrong? Wow.... studies scientific studies that show up when you search Google for results are all wrong and personal biased reviews are better? 🥱🥱🥱 2. What I told you is that your mentality is abso-forking-lutely Nigerian at your core and all through the inches of you. 🥱🥱🥱 |

ultraviolet27:Not trying to hold brief for the other, given that we know absolutely nothing about this boys upbringing except for the fairy tale review brought us by the OP who happens to be a third party with rose goggles on, are you saying it could never have been the case that the man witnessed his parents murdering someone or something along those lines? ![]() I recall reading a story brought here on Nairaland by a lady who said her parents were kidnappers, and she had been complacent until after she turned an adult and decided she no longer wanted to have anything to do with them. However, she didn't have much luck out in the world and was considering contacting them for help. I don't recall much else, but I know that story got on the front page, too. 🥱🥱 All the evil in the world is committed by people, some of whom are also parents. Basically, someone's father and/or mother in Nigeria is are murderer. All those lynchings that take place in that country are done by someone's relatives, father, mother, brother, etc. So, I think we should not discount these possibilities since we know nothing of the facts as far as this story and the reason why the man decided to go no contact. 🥱🥱 |

Raalsalghul:Take am easy sha. No break anybody head or say things you might come to regret. It is a difficult place to be Parents cover lots of stuff, especially when children are still dependent and live with them. But when parent gets old or pass away, you realise that if you have four siblings for example, maybe three na idiot inside, the other two na dem get sense. Then due to the sake of family love and maintaining unity, one or two person have to always carry the weight of the others. It is not bad, but when such weight becomes permament, is choking you, and the beneficiary dont even want to help themselves, resentment sets in. Because even you that is their helper needs help. You do not complain doesnt mean life is not tough and harsh on you. You just choose to be stoic. But love conquers all. When you see any family in unity, just know that there is someone in the mix that is the glue keeping everyone bonded together. In most cases, the glue are the parents, and when parents die, it becomes clear that siblings can be strangers, and family doesnt always means love. Inside life. |
