I was chatting with a guy that drives Mouve Suzuki. He lamented about how theyre been treated too. I asked if they didn't sign legal agreement before collecting the car, his response was so terrifying. First he said the documents will be sent to you to signed on the phone and you can't get a copy and that no matter how much you pay daily, you can't know how much remains to balance up. But because I don't argue what I don't know, I just kept quiet, but it sounds really strange to me, this is 2025, how can that even happen. All I saw in my conversation is lack of legal function in the beginning, except there is something I'm missing. And another thing he said is, the desperation to get the car won't let you ask for the proper documentations of agreement. Guy, na true? |

Kaymax2222:Unless so, but guys here say it's achievable. Since thier own is electric they may well be able to meet the target as well. |

Gentlelife50:It's slavery oooo. It's achievable but not with this kind of pressure and mindset. It's acheivable while also knowing some days u e9nt achieve it. Some days ur body might not let u work and u don't. So no pressure but this right here is different. It's slavery in broad daylight. Wickedness besides d 100k daily ain't even d drivers .Modern day slavery |

Pearl1910:That's the work of road safety. Seat belt has absolutely nothing to do with traffic management. |

PuZZyNegro:You go explain tire. Read number 41, i dont know what will take you guys to use seat belt if not daring the devil.

Gentlelife50:What are u saying? Are other drivers of gasoline vehicles remitting 50k daily? In a bid to do sarcasm don't sound ****sh How possible Is it for anybody to remit 100k daily? I still feel there is a miss communication somewhere cos this is not possible. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by PuZZyNegro: 10:16am On Nov 29, 2025 |
sandammy:But why then does Lastma charge 70k for BRT lane violation? |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Pearl1910: 10:21am On Nov 29, 2025 |
sandammy:One thing I have confirmed true is the fact that an average person hates to study . See how grown men are saying Lastma cant arrest them for not using seat belt. If u are really powerful and want to fight d whole Lagos, shouldn't u at least find out if you are fighting on d right side of the law? U shouldn't have dropped this thing, let them continue with their mentality until they learn the hard way. |

| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Djdamian(m): 10:56am On Nov 29, 2025 |
Pearl1910:It's ridiculous tbh if true. Funny thing is same drivers will tell car owners they can't pay 60k weekly. It's well |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Jegheter: 11:02am On Nov 29, 2025 |
Pearl1910:Chief relax nobody said we are not using seat belt we are just pointing to u that Lastma point of operation does not cover road safety but traffic management. If I'm driving and forgot to use my seat belt there is no Lastma born of a woman that will stop and fine me. Even if u do stop me u will correct me not say u want fine me. It has happened to me. I pass Lastma and police unknowingly without my seatbelt and dey don't bother I can't try that with road safety. Lastma sef kno forget what u r reading up there. Traffic rules na traffic rules. E b like u go hotel see no smoking of Indian hemp yet right under d signage men dey cook Dude posted Lagos traffic rules..what do u expect that the rules shouldn't have wearing seat belt and fine . Iz like in police station u boldly see bail is free but no pay first make I know if won't sleep in station. Like a poster said traffic management has NOTHING to do with road safety. |

| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Pearl1910: 2:39pm On Nov 29, 2025 |
Djdamian:Lolz... We have already established it's not possible to pay 100k daily. So that parallel u are trying to draw cannot stand. If they say 100k weekly then that's even better than petrol car drivers. Cos an average petrol car driver will buy 30k fuel for a full day's job, that's 150k a week plus rentals of 50-60k totalling minimum 200k every week. |

| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Jegheter: 11:39pm On Nov 29, 2025 |
HelenaWills:My broda na exactly wetin I dey try explain be dis. Nigeria get laws plenty and it's expected we display this laws for all to see that we are a sane society. At least we get d laws. Isn't bail free ![]() Same way Lastma no see hanging conductors how can dey see me not wearing seatbelt . I go change am for Dem. Omo u must be awake on d road ALWAYS make vultures no chow uFurthermore can u see how road safety doesn't relate to traffic management. That rule 37 is a safety issue and NOT traffic management issue as conductors standing in motion CANNOT hinder free flow of traffic but it's not safe |

sandammy:Lol maybe you should read the law, having this bs on their site doesn't make it within their jurisdiction, seat belt thing is a federal law... If you check that yeye lastma list, things wey no concern their papa full am... When I'm rich enough, my lawyer go go court taya, and I'll win all the cases, someone must correct the madness in this country |
