To be an Imam,you have to be the most knowledgeable in the group with no dirty record and no practice of idolatry or Innovation (Bidia) or unislamic practices. We don't believe in superstition like someone is having anointing or has powerful tongue or whatever,we're very practical. Even dreams in Islam is not directly vision to us because we believe many dreams are manipulations of devil. I can't have a dream that somebody dies now and wake up believing such person would die. We would rather pray. Any form of superstition is condemned in Islam,that's why you wouldn't see an Imam saying he has a dream that this or that would happen or God told him something despite that they have a lot of such experiences like trances and dreams just like every human being but they're never seen as something they should call themselves prophets or special people because of that. If they narrate dream they saw,they would end it with God knows best and not come out to goof that this or that will happen. Jesus is second to the last Prophet and Messenger of God,Muhammad is the last,anybody that claims to be prophet or messenger of God after them is just looking for what to eat,just a scammer or looking for fame
