Jakarta:Oil palm plantations have made many families rich overtime across states as Edo, Cross River, Enugu, Akwa Ibom etc. Too bad the farm isn't well managed. Is it that competent farm managers are scarce? How about employing foreigners, especially those from Southeast Asia, where palm oil is a huge industry? |

franchasofficia:The issue with land investments is how unsafe (security wise) many parts of the country are. So even if it is land for agricultural purposes or residential, insecurity leads to a decline in its value. One, development will take time to reach that area, as it is unsafe for human habitation. Two, the value depreciates or, at best, stagnates. |

Investing depends on who you are and what you love to do with your time. As for me I love farming. So if I have any money, I've got to invest in farming, esespecially cocoa and other cash crops s |

AfDapone:Yea, I believe the target should be areas with high urbanization/industrialization prospects. In fact, all regions, especially in Southern Nigeria have such prospects, it depends on how long one is willing to wait. Except for contingencies, saving in the bank isn't really attractive to me. |

Onegai:Just as Grammarnazi1 stated, Ogun state! Look for developing Areas that has proximity to Lagos areas. There are still developing areas that fall under Ogun state but are very close to Lagos.. you will have to cross over with a boat..to come to the Lagos side, such areas are good place to buy plots of land for the future. 14 yrs ago, lusada, Atan were Very cheap places to buy land in Ogun state, sake of their closeness to Agbara industrial area and Lagos but now ...land price is high over there but alot of developments is still going on. Look out for the outskirts of these Areas..( lusada, Atan, Ado-odo.) Land are still on the low side here. Another area is the outskirts of ikorodu main town, those Areas that fall into Ogun state. |

mocochannel:Invest in Expired domain names. You can buy an expired domain name for $9 and resell above $500 after some time. Some times there a fast sale and some times you wait for some time. Onegai:Ogun and Oyo states. In Ogun state, bother towns close to Lagos are good option. Although it's getting saturated and expensive, but you can still get good prices after mojoda in Epe, Ibefun after Itokin, Sotubo after Ogijo. There are still affordable lands with good ROI prospects in the outskirts of Lagos. |

SatoshiX:I lost around 1.2million naira this year to forex. It made me miserable because this year would have been a highly successful one for me without that loss. Anything concerning stock, crypto, forex , bond, betting, can never be me again. Especially if e pass 10 $ worth. Only thing I can use more than 10$ invest in now is physical business like agriculture, or buying land. Any online investment I'm out of it. |

Oya, everyone listen. Like everything in life, true wealth comes in cycles and ages. Conventional wisdom right now says back AI, but in 10-20 years, AI will not be innovative anymore but basic, no matter the application, same way computers and the Internet are now. So, sure, you can still make money off them, but they won't exactly be the rage 'IT' investment of the times. What will, then? Note, this is just my thoughts based on both my private observation and spiritual insight. (GOD didn't tell me o, lol) Anyway, in one phrase, look to the stars. That's where smart money will be at in the next 2-4 decades. |

5 Pray4meJC:It's not for everybody but having a little stash of it can do wonders. My closest pal bought 4 btc with his 200k scholarship money many year ago...to him it was insignificant after all ppl had a stash of thousands To an average Nigerian no harm in having at least 1k pi and forgetting about it when web3 becomes mainstream u will have something..15m to 50m naira is not bad for an average Nigerian..let those with deep pocket go for the 200k dolls to millions of dollars. This my initial stash was worth over 10k dolls and was gotten for free..

SpencerForbes:Are you ready to face the problems that come with buying land and keeping it for years? I don’t think so. It’s a very risky investment now. Any piece of land kept longer than two years may lead to a loss of that land or life. speaking from experience. |

BEST INVESTMENT IS LAND Buy Land and it will appreciate but note the followings: 1) Buy the one that gives you outright ownership 2) Never ever, buy those Installmental payment real estate lands. Many of those selling these installment real Estate Lands are dupes, you do not have immediate allocation and you may likely find it to recover any deposit paid 3) Instalment real Estate Companies makes you a slave for ever: after paying for the land, they may cone up with what they call "development/documentations cost" this will be far more than the cost of the land that was initially advertised to you. At this point whala starts. 4) God safe you if you default in paying your instalments, by the time you want to start paying again, you will zhen be told the land is now 3 times the initial amount Conclussion, Land is good. "But never ever go by the way if the Instalment real estate adverts you see around", the odds are just against you totally. From the initial marketer that collects some commission 'behind the scene" to the hefty development/documentation" fee waiting for you. As all Lawyers will tell you, buy only land that gives you immediate ownership/possession.This advice is practical. From someone that has gone through the process." Not fiction" |

Onegai:..Asaba is another area. Due to it closeness onitsha main markets and due to high cost of house rents. A lot of people prefer to live and come from Asaba to onitsha. Development is going on on that Asaba Axis..and more development is still coming, plus population Explosion. |

Try to read and understand this ask someone to explain to you if need be which ever way try and understand this ::my name is Ed edd and Eddie to minimize regret 10 years from now, “invest” first in skills, health, and a clean balance sheet, then build a globally diversified, low‑cost, tax‑aware portfolio aligned with your risk tolerance and goals. That combination is strongly supported by empirical research and by the mathematics of compounding, risk, and after‑tax returns. |
