KILLER’ FAMILY Gagged & tied teen thrown into swamp & left to drown ‘by her BROTHERS in Muslim honour killing over Western behaviour’

The 18-year-old had been under protection prior to the murder

A TEEN girl was left tied, gagged, dumped and drowned in a horrific Muslim honour killing over her “Western behaviour”, according to Dutch prosecutors.

Ryan Al Najjar, 18, was allegedly murdered by her brothers under orders from the father after she had “shamed” the family by having a boyfriend

.The cowardly father Khaled has fled to native Syria while Mohamed, 23, and Muhanad Al Najjar, 25, are on trial for the murder. Khaled will be tried in absentia.

Al Najjar vanished from the family home in Joure, Netherlands six days before being discovered gagged with her hands bound behind her back, ankles taped together and submerged in a swamp.

She went missing on 22 May 2024, before being found on 28 May in Lelystad, about 25 miles north-east of Amsterdam.

DNA belonging to her dad was found under her fingernails, which suggests she had put up a fight.

Prosecutors claim the teen was murdered for simply having a boyfriend and behaving in a way the Syrian family thought “Western”.

They formally designated the murder as an honour crime.

Her brothers, who trial started yesterday, insist the killing was carried out by their father alone.

The fugitive father allegedly sent two emails to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf claiming sole responsibility and saying his sons were innocent.

But prosecutors rubbished his claim, insisting that he told his boys to snatch Ryan, drive her to a remote spot and leave her for dead in the water gagged and weighed down.

They also say the brothers carried out the grim plan knowing she would die.

Ryan had previously been under police protection, but that ended before her murder.

They have not disclosed why the protection ceased.

Both brothers were arrested within hours of Ryan’s body being found and have been locked up ever since. Khaled remains on the run.

Dutch current-affairs show Nieuwsuur claims Khaled is now holed up in northern Syria, where he has remarried.

The Dutch Ministry of Justice says it has no way of dragging him back, explaining: “The possibilities for criminal cooperation with Syria are currently not available.

Sometimes I can't help but to think why isreali's kill Arab Muslims in large numbers.

But a look at the mind of these Muslims, the only thing you see is darkness.

How can a father and his son kill their own flesh and blood. Because she has a white boyfriend.

Arabs flee from persecutions by Muslims in their own country. Only to start persecution in another country.

Who are they honouring abeg.

It's like once you join that religion your common sense disappears.

But then, there are Muslims in my region - the SW and even in my family who have no traces of that kind of behaviours.

It then makes me wonder if it has to do with religion or characters/natures

The more you try to understand this religionnnnnn, the more confused you get and become. Is it that the adherents are deaf or what are they still doing in it.

This same people may not let the woman marry a Muslim man from Kaduna while an Egyptian may be okay with a Ned Nwoko marriage. This life, you just have to see things from a deep perspective, it's very convenient to hide under groups.
