I know, what I am saying is that the revenue from his investment is like 700k naira per annum. So, of it's 700k per month, it could be better and interest people to invest in it. But 700k per annum no be am at all.
maasoap:
In Nigeria of today, 700k naira monthly might not be able to meet your finances most especially if you have a wife and kids who are still growing up and under your care

You'd be surprised how he'll make that money back in 3 - 4 years ans still benefit from working infrastructure and services in the UK.

I'm actually referring to 700k naira per month. It is huge but if you are not a retiree, you will eventually realise that it is not enough. Because you have needs beyond meeting your basic needs

Am I only talking about myself or am I the only Nigerian under this incompetent government? I'm talking about millions of Nigerians under this failed government. So ask urself why millions of Nigerians are not living in banana island.
Nigeria is a poor country full of unproductive, useless, unintelligent, disorderly, lawless, ungovernable citizens/people. The leaders are not different from the people they govern.

Nevertheless, I give my full unwavering support to Asiwaju President Bola Ahmed Tinubu 🙏

99 percent of Nigerians overseas are economic immigrants. They left mainly because of economic reasons not insecurity. I have argued this in the past before.

If Nigerians are leaving largly because of insecurity than why are they not moving to safer African countries or safer Asian countries enmass?

There are security of lives and property in Namibia, Botswana, Senegal, Tunisia, Gambia, Philippines, Thailand, Chile, Uruguay etc yet Nigerians are largly trooping to Western countries for money?

Try get sense.
you are funny

I would have ignored you, but let me just tell you something

Do you think he’d squander the 60million Naira like that?

Unless he doesn’t get a job, in 5 years time he’d be able to buy a 60 million Nairaland house if he wants.

Read again, he travelled with his family, meaning 2 people can be working
You sound like a very young person who has never left the shores of Nigeria.

You have a very faulty and perverse line of thought! Chai !!!

What is the probability of these negative thoughts happening to the average Nigerian? Wow!

You people live in fantasy land. You will experience serious depression and hopelessness in that UK, and your hardworking friends you left in Nigeria will be miles ahead of you.
People like you look at Life, just in terms of Money, you forget that just been able to sleep inside your House, with your two eyes closed, without the fear that some smelly cow-fuckers can just barge-in with an Akay47, Kpai you, violate your Wife and daughters, do whatever they like and walk away, just like that, is an unquantifiable peace of mind, in most Western/European Countries.
How much Money can make-up for that? Not to mention having stable Power, Smooth Roads to drive on, standard Schools even for te poorest among you, Prompt and Standard medical Services, etc.

Are all these also fantasies? Maybe to you , because you have not stepped foot out of your village or Lagos sha.
It is only people who are lazy, have No Skills and are not educated that go through very difficult times in places like the UK, most other people are doing well and sending money to the same friends they left behind in Nigeria or did yo not hear the Nigerian Govt say that Nigerians in Diaspora remit at least $21Billion in 2024, to their relatives in Nigeria.

If only you have met who you are responding to, you will swallow all you typed up there.
But it is okay, it is a faceless forum.

People have more than that in their account. They are at least licensed by CBN and your money is saved.

Say you hate Nigeria and please why ain’t you in the UK living your advanced country lifestyle. Go to the airport and see for yourself the number of people trooping into Nigeria on a daily basis. You are here describing and overblowing uncommon insecurity incidents and projecting it all over Nigeria and extrapolating it to all Nigerians.

Your eye go clear when you get to that your fantasy island UK. You will surely get tired of living in one tiny room after 10 - 15 years.
