Arteta this is on you. What a disgraceful performance against 10 men. We looked like the ones down 10 men many times

Saka switched wing because of cucurella, who's already on a yellow card 🤣

A loss? This is more than a loss against 10 men that we should be beating even if they're 15... Am so sad and I feel if we were level (11 v 11) we would have lost this match... They all played rubbish, Rice going for long passes (and always into the touch) when a simple short passes could suffice and move the team forward, Ode useless since coming on kicking the ball up instead controlling it, Eze wasn't great either but atleast he was moving the ball upfront.... Saka? Absolutely shocking and Hincapie looks shaky thank God it's Chelsea....

Am really (2x) Sad.....

I don’t under why this man approaches consequential games with this rubbish mentality. Dude you are a man up but your opponent dominated and looked like they had the numbers. This is why I can’t trust a coach like Arteta. Absolutely can’t.
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 7:37pm On Nov 30, 2025
It's quite obvious we can't afford to play a big game without either of Gabriel or Saliba in CB role.

Masquera + Hincapie partnership is not ripe enough to play together yet.

We regularly start our attack from the back; Masquera and Hincapie's immaturity/naivety made it difficult for us to start attack from the back most times. It just looks as if both of them don't know who needs to join attack and who needs to stay back to play the sweeper role. They made it difficult for rice to join attack to the extent that rice had to drop in between them to help them out.

I hope either of Gabriel or Saliba will be available for our matches going forward.

It's looks like his game plan from the start was to play for a draw which I believe affected the players psyche ( who were equally horrible and jaded)....

The players should take majority of the blame too for this horrible performance....

Chain see big Chelsea loss... This match was so painful...

Very lucky Arsenal
😂
Can't even beat a 10 man Chelsea and u want to win league
🤨🤨🤨
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 7:42pm On Nov 30, 2025
Arteta has zero blame in this game ; Hicanpie and Masquera made his job 100% difficult with their useless yellow cards and their jittery pattern of play.

Rice dropping back to help those two was what stifled our attack and Made it impossible for us to take advantage of the 1 man advantage.

Eze too has been hiding anytime he plays the 10 role. There was a sharp contrast in how he plays and how Odegaard played when he came on. Odegaard was always coming to receive the ball while Eze always hide behind his markers which makes it difficult for him to impact games.

No be today Eze dey do that thing and that's why he's not made much impact in that 10 role bar the Bayern and City games he played those long passes. Eze needs to learn out to call for the ball in a good position; playing 10 is not the same as waiting on the wings for passes to seek u out

Arteta approach to big games especially away is a suspect, I don't like it at all
They were there the moment they were man down, he should be ashamed of himself, saka can't face a lb on yellow too
Madueke was just playing in the other wing he doesn't want to offset his former club
What a disgrace

The red hot streak is over(spuds, Bayern and shekpe)
Hopefully we pick up form and the injured players recover because I can't be watching madueke or martinelli running aimlessly

I'm topping the league with 5 points. No sign of weakness bro; I'm still undefeated after that losperool loss earlier in this season.

You should be worried more about Ur team that loses to any average team bro

I would excuse Madueke cos the man (Ode) brought on to spread play keeps kicking the ball up like it's a meaningless game... Infact they all played horribly sef

Arteta? Winning these type of game is very important, it's you taking 3 points off your rival... Which mathematically is you winning 6 points in the long run/term

The team were not emotionally and mentally prepared for this derby and it is buttressed by the number of cautions we got in the first half. They looked all over the place and couldn’t even compose themselves. We did absolutely nothing even after Caicedo’s yellow in the first. I really don’t understand why we looked slow building plays.

Hate it or love it, Saliba’s absence in that backline is more consequential than any other player at this point. I am so frustrated and truthfully there was a part of me that thought this would happen.

As in.... I just tire.

We both drop points and share one point each ; instead make he talk about how his team will go on to win other games he's worrying his head about arsenal that has not lost a game in a very long while.

I mean seeing everyone sad with this point away from home ( with bad refereeing) shows we are ambitious.... Long gone are those days we celebrate mediocrity like our "Alaro" brothers

In all fairness apart from the horrible performances, this part saddens me the most that we never got anywhere like scoring... The moment Zubi was subbed off , Rice inability to start play from deep was glaring to me today which inhibits defence-Attack smooth transition and Ode didn't help either he was just kicking the ball up...

Games like this are 6 pointer in the long run cos you are denying your rival 3 points by winning especially when they self destruct by getting Red...

You're 100% spot on.

I'd like to see Eze try that false 9 role. He should have the ability to read the game and create spaces with his off the ball movements
