Every appointment must either be transactional or a quid pro quo
After that, the next factor is usually ethnic and regional affiliation
It's a sad commentary to how value Nigeria's democracy has fallen to base standards

There was a time when women and Black Americans couldn’t vote in the US.

I understand your frustration with the system. Nigeria’s problems are real. But stepping back and resigning only guarantees one thing: corrupt governments will always win.

America didn’t improve by resignation. It improved because ordinary people insisted on participating, educating each other, organizing, and showing up, again and again.

There is something you can do: encourage your fellow citizens to participate, not just by voting, but by bringing others with them, educating them, and holding leaders accountable.

No political party will magically fix Nigeria. Only the people can. The pressure, unity, and persistence of ordinary citizens is what forces politicians to act right.

What I hate about Buhari is the 2nd Niger Bridge that he built for them, if not for Buhari, na canoe dem go take cross the River Niger by now because their brothers would have stolen everything on the old bridge. Don't vote party ever again. Vote individuals. Those of us that voted PO in the last election are ready to vote him again no matter the party where he enters. Of course, seeing him in APC is the first sign that he has changed from whom he has been. But any other party, we move with him.

In 2007, Maurice Iwu’s INEC organized a sham of an election that brought Yaradua as president.

Everybody condemned the election.

And Yaradua himself acknowledged that the election was faulty on his inauguration speech, and pledged to reform the electoral process.

That’s character right there.

And after his tenure ended, Maurice Iwu disappeared into ignominy where he rightly belongs.

Then 2023 came, and Mahmoud Yakubu went on different global platforms to tell the world how the election will be conducted but on Election Day, he declared unverifiable glitches, destroyed our election, destroyed the trust of the people and everything.

But guess what, Tinubu just rewarded him with an Ambassadorial position as thank you for a job well done.

We are watching these things and we will keep them at heart.

Tinubu don see Nigerians finish. He has the effrontery to parade his election fraud in our faces. Now, that's balls if you ask me. These are the type of balls that confirm one is a criminal.
