People understand now that it's not all about who kicked the ball last. The fact that you are scoring doesn't mean that you did the work alone.
Messi is a team player - he is valuable to the development of other players in the team, not just scoring goals and developing himself.
But your Ronaldo mostly cares about himself.

If I remember clearly, Messi refuse to test himself in mancity.... Even when city is ready to offer him the wage he demanded ....u don't judge all lions by what they do individual otherwise they all will be considered as kings but by their actions at the top levels that's where u can truly know who's king....

U can get goals without assists...assists can't be recored without a goal ... a short side pass will also be recorded as an assist ... Maradona fantastic goal against England also had an assist, and it was a side normal pass from his own half without any pressure

He has scored those extra goals before Messi. He is older than Messi. If they should retire at the same age eventually, Messi will have more goals than him.
