This investigation of soldiers by the DHQ is evidence that the DHQ is directly involved and gave the command for the withdrawal. Anyone with half a brain knows soldiers follow orders and there is someone who ordered the withdrawal. It's now for the ehmmm .... Commander in Chief to take control ...but he hasn't. Useless Commander in Chief...useless military.

I tell you sir. But you will see a comment from freestuffng on the fist page saying this is a good development. My comment above just showed how daft these guys are.

The officers in charge of the soldiers will distance themselves and only the boys may be used as scape goat.

What prompted him to check if the soldiers are still there?
Defence headquarters have been in the habit of withdrawing soldiers prior to such happenings since Jonathan.
When 60 boys were killed in boarding school in yobe state in 2014,the military were withdrawn.
When lt col Mohammed Abu Ali was killed in 2016,the special forces that was attached near his 272 task force brigade was redeployed by 4pm while government boys attacked by 8pm.

We just love fooling ourselves in this country.

Fighting and winning insurgencies in the north is a very big and difficult task, because there are too many saboteurs, supporters and sympathizers of these criminals both in the military, government, among political office holders in the north and the people of the north in general.

Because I'm tired does not mean I'll make things worse by making careless assumptions. Ignorance is one of the things that got us to this stage and we still keep repeating the same mistakes.

Instead of telling Nigerians the names of the commander (or commanders) who ordered the withdrawal, we are now being fed children's stories.

Who ordered those men to stand down and withdraw? What are their names? Nigerians demand to know!
