Thomas1186:That is why ìt is always and often good to know who u want to marry before u say I do. I don't believe that there is no juju. That lady has caged u and u can't do anything except u too go the same length and above the level she is operating on. Tit for tat should be activated quickly...do everything to save yourself from her black magic. Every reasonable man or woman avoids white garment people because of these kinds of rituals. Can't u see that many of them don't get married especially their ladies. Do quick to free yourself this self inflicted wahala. I packed out of my former house because of this same white garment landlady which I got to found out few years in my rental tenor, she sprayed every nonsense in and around the house and to worsen the matter,on our cars...that was why I called it off and I immediately packed out to avoid being met with bad luck and after everything,I blocked her on both WhatsApp and lines. |

ibechris:Oga stop forming.I am not in your class.Do you think I can sit in a office for 200k. They hype yourself. You are making 60m , spending 80m , story for the God. Who asked you question in the first place. You turned yourself to D.A Fagunwa dey tell us story. Your 200k is 2.4m per annum gross, so where is the 60 million coming from. Empty barrel make the loudest noise, I am not here to drag with you. All I know is that if your naration is real, you are living beyond your means. I am not spending 18m annually and my family are living happily including a vacation abroad annually. |

Babaibe:Why are u angry on another person post. He never asked u for advice. U sounded very pained. Stop displaying this kind of unreasonable attitude outside. In his write up,he said thank to his side income. Meaning he has an additional income that makes up for him...so why are u angry? |

ibechris:See this one, your remark made smile. If anyone is a potential candidate of high bp , Oga na you ooo. Me I dey enjoy my life. I am not coming to nairaland to lament ooo. I don't need magic to turn 2.4m gross to 60m per annum and spend 18m on family with batallion nannies and 100 cars oo. Na your problem wey no dey finish oo. All I know is that empty barrel makes the loudest noise, and you don't need to mount a stool for the world to know you are tall. |

Nice2023:Initially, I decided to ignore your foolish comment. But you know what people like you that come here to brag and jump to debate without careful reasoning are the most miserable. You painted Nigeria as hell when you have never stayed one day abroad. A man earning 200k is making unreasonable justification for his unreasonable spending. Yet someone like you is jamming hand for him when I am sure you dont have a million in your account. Are people not surviving with 150k salary or less. Yes, we know times are hard but not for to tell us you are spending 1.2m on food stuff and nannies, then your family must have their pots in shoprite . Oga I am happy for those who hustle legally, if your job pays 200kmonthly which translate to 2.4m, and your side hustle pay 57.6m annually. Then quite the job and face the hustle, at least you can double your income to 120 million annually except if the hustle is to steal fund that belong to the government using that same office like people working at Inland revenue. |

Kobojunkie:@SpencerForbes, @truthhurts2 pls I beg u in the name of whatever u worship, go back and read what Kobojunkie wrote, then do more research on the impact of balanced diet on cognitive development. As adults if u have given up on yourself, fine: but don't rub it on your kids. children need regular consumption of protein, milk, fruits and vegetables for proper brain development. If u noticed, children from poor homes no longer do well on test scores in schools in naija. check admissions into competitive courses like medicine, Law....they are dominated by kids from rich homes. Its not connection, its difference in cognitive development as a result of nutrition. One of u even said u dont need to eat fruits everyday. That's a bad advice. pls give your kids milk, vegetables and fruits everyday and do not deny them protein. In the uk, if they check the lunchbox of your kids in school and its devoid of fruits and vegetables, the school will write a very nasty letter to you as a parent. |

1144AK:AI is very wrong. malnutrition cause decrease in milk production. A nursing mother who isnt eating or has poor diet will have nothing to produce. every breastfeeding know this. If the mother is not eating well, what's she going to produce. I have seen a neonate died of starvation because the mum wasn't producing adequate breastmilk- virtually nothing because she wasn't eating and she had no money to buy baby formula. This one no be dem say, it happened in the hospital I worked. |

SIRTee15:I had effectively closed my chapter on this debate, but since you mentioned me specifically, I will provide my final take for clarity. I want you to look at this blueprint objectively and tell me exactly where the logic fails. The fundamental premise here is that marriage is a partnership, not a solo burden. If a young man earning 100k—which is above the 70k minimum wage—is wise enough to marry an industrious partner earning a similar 90k to 100k, they immediately establish a combined household base of roughly 200k. That 200k isn't just for consumption; it serves as leverage. They can comfortably set aside funds to start a side hustle like a POS business or workplace provision sales, or even invest in high-income skills like cybersecurity. If the lady is equally active and invests capital into cloth vending, that is an immediate startup. When you combine the salaries with the profits from these ventures, the family income can easily rise to around 300k monthly. Here is where the real strategy kicks in. If they agree to suspend childbearing for the first two years, they accumulate serious capital. With a monthly inflow of around 300k, they generate 3.6 million in a year and 7.2 million over two years. Even if we account for a realistic expenditure of 5 million naira for living costs during that period, they are left with a solid savings reserve of 2.2 million naira before their first child even arrives. With that capital, they can diversify further into agriculture like poultry or pig farming. In five years, a family operating on this model will have absolutely no issue affording protein or maintaining a good standard of living. Success relies on choosing an industrious (not our online feminist and woke ladies) supportive partner and adhering to strict strategic financial planning. |
