Its always good to educate yourself and stop depending on IPOB news media outlet

1. Fuel subsidy removal is a good thing even your principal Obi said he will remove it
2. Naira devaluation is also good so that the real value of Naira can be known
3. Inflation and cost of living is as a result of the above 2 which is needed to correct unsustainable decades of mismanagement
4. Related to number 3
5. The insecurity that has been enabled to fester over the past decades has finally come home to roost and it will take many years to root out

The same way Nnamdi Kanu before Tinubu was encouraging his followers like you to attack fellow Nigerians and law enforcement
1. So because Peter Obi said he will remove subsidy that makes it good? A recent NNPC report still reveals that money is still being spent for subsidy. https://businessday.ng/news/article/nnpcls-subsidy-payment-jump-by-47-9-to-n7-1trn-in-2024/

Explain

2. How has that policy helped improve the lives of Nigerians?

3. The inflation is as a result of poor judgement on the handlers of the economy. Ill timed and irrational decisions like foolishly declaring subsidy gone without a plan, simply because Peter Obi said he too will remove subsidy

4. Throwing millions of Nigerians into multidimensional poverty cannot be wished away. It's a punishment put on Nigerians for allowing crooks and self serving political rogue gangs rule the country

5. The failure of the CinC to deal with rising insecurity cannot be blamed on previous government. The buck stops at his table. We could as well blame Lord Lugard or Queen Victoria and their forefathers.

Your defense is too poor. Think well defend your principal

1. Removing fuel subsidy is a good thing which is why the top 3 presidential candidates made it their first line of call, Infact every presidential candidate has been promising that ever since

2. That policy has helped the country to stop accumulating debt and spending scarce resources on the subsidy thereby we can now focus on capital expenditures like building roads and developing the economy

3. Actually Obi given how dull he is most likely copied that from Tinubu. Inflation happened because the govt subsidy was removed to show the right price of things not govt subsidized ones

4. The multi dimensional poverty has been hovering all over Nigeria before Tinubu and using subsidies to cover up is simply kicking the can down the road, now we are at the end of the road and we have to face the real deal

5. Tinubu is cleaning the mess of incompetence former leaders at Federal and state level including your principal, if the useless leaders like Obi and some Northern governors were not giving excuses for IPOB and BokoHaram we will not be here today with insecurity

No worry Tinubu is here to clean up all the mess of former leaders

You can continue wailing about your principals election loss

I heard he was forced to get the F out of there.

But how come a CDS (Christopher Musa), that Tinubu thought of, to disgrace, is the one prepped to take the role?

Musa's potential appointment as minister for defence designate looks good for optics ; a Christian minister for defence at a time Christian genocide is a front burner topic. He's from Kaduna South; one of the Christian dominated part of the core north that has always been on the receiving end of targeted killings.

I think there are two ministers of defence ; one is the junior and the other is senior. I don't know if Matawalle will defer to Musa or if it's the other way round, but I feel if the reason for this Bdadru sack is to reshape our defence strategy, then Matawalle too should have been sacked

Well, let's wait and see if happen first Sha.

For now, it looks like Musa's appointment is centered around good optics and not necessarily because his tenure as CDS was anything to write home about. The fact that he was sacked as CDS with years to serve lays credence to that.

I also heard a rumour that Northern elites pushed strongly for his then removal cos he was always outspoken against their "amnesty for bandits" agenda.

Let's see what changes with his return, we are tired of this kidnap for random malady.

The tripping thing about leaders across different climes and different times is their inability or refusal to respond to gentle persuasion from the people. In most cases only corrective slap works.

You think these people really care about number of Nigerians that die daily? Na wa for u o.

Almost on a daily basis people get either kidnapped or killed by armed groups in different parts of the country. The authorities will be busy playing politics instead of coming up with measures to defend the defenseless citizens.

Going by the reports one is seeing on Twitter, it looks like the country is already surrounded by armed groups scattered all over the unpoliced forests across the country and there's not much the security agencies can do other than being reactive instead of proactive combating of the insurgents.

1. Removing subsidy is never a good thing. Let's not be stupid. It's taking away citizen's benefit. It is a harsh decision that must come with a structured plan. Using Peter Obi as your defense is lame and silly.

2. There's no link between devaluation and spending on capital expenditures or avoiding debts. What about the borrowings? In fact we have incurred more debt because of the poor handlers of the economy.

3. How does inflation help anyone? You see why I said you're defending evil?

4. Previous governments covered up the poverty through subsidy but your daddy felt it was wrong. That's an evil daddy. So what did he do, drag more millions of Nigerians into deeper poverty. That's the punishment we get for having him as president right?

5. After blaming others for insecurity, let him provide the security now. Isn't his vice president fingered for funding BH?

One of Obi's agenda was subsidy removal immediately he becomes the president, and I trust the man had his reasons and concrete plans. The other slowbee just followed along,he had no significant plan after declaring the subsidy was gone, just like when he was yapping about farmers making more money and stuff. grin

Obi went to Egypt for electrical talks and studies,Boom! Bat the emulator- started yapping about electricity and even promised uninterrupted 24-hour power supply, we're still waiting. grin

But na Obi dey copy...these Batist gives me good laugh everyday here. grin

Political Office holders are literally turning themselves into Military administrators with the way they arbitrarily break the law and then turn back to claim they are being backed by the law in the decision they took.

Imagine reversing C of O that was rightly issued on the premise the revocation is done in favor of overriding public interest when we all know the land will never be used to build a government hospital, airport, or housing estate . They will probably allocate the land to someone else and the people will continue as if the whole charade is lawful.

Later these same people will tell u Military government is the worse that can ever happen to a nation.
