A young girl has been killed in Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State by a man alleged to be her sugar daddy.

NATIONAL POST reports that the girl was murdered on Monday inside Bekay Pharmacy at the Total Roundabout in Nsukka, Enugu State.

The suspect, who is now in police net, identified as Emma Nwagwu, was said to have reportedly confronted her over accusations of infidelity.

According to a Facebook post by a social media influencer, Sen. Chijinkem Ugwuanyi, Nwagwu allegedly stormed into the pharmacy where the young girl was receiving treatment and accused her of being involved with another man, said to be a Divisional Police Officer, DPO, in the Nsukka zone.

Ugwuanyi claimed the DPO was outside in his vehicle at the time of the incident.

Witnesses alleged that during the confrontation, Nwagwu smashed the victim’s head against a wall, causing her to collapse.

She reportedly died on the spot, with an angry crowd attempting to mob the suspect before security personnel intervened.

Ugwuanyi further alleged that Nwagwu attempted to attack the DPO, who then drew his service pistol, prompting bystanders to restrain both men.

The suspect was eventually taken to the Nsukka Police Area Command.

It's being alleged that the suspect is a known political operative who has worked with successive administrations in Nsukka Local Government.

"This notorious man from #Opi_Nsukka working with every govt in power in Nsukka Local government area killed this girl yesterday inside #Bekay Pharmacy shop located at total roundabout Nsukka," Chijinkem wrote.

Police authorities in Enugu are yet to release an official statement on the matter.

Meanwhile, the development is attracting serious condemnations across social media platforms, with many demanding justice for the victim.

Emma Nwangwu rushed inside the pharmacy shop and immediately accused the girl of cheating on him and next he did was smashing the girl's head on the wall and the girl collãpsed and died instantly.

People rushed him and wanted to mob him and the #Emma_Nwangwu was also rushing to hit the DPO inside his car until the DPO pulled out his pistol gun to shoòt him and people held him back.

He was later rescued from the mõb and taken to Nsukka Police area command.

Immediately the ijiot killer arrived Nsukka Police area command, first person he called was the Nsukka Local Government Chariman, Engr Jude Asogwa telling him "OGA I don kìll someone" "I don kìll the girl"

People were like Na him send you to go kill somebody or what, or because the ijiot is working for current Nsukka Local Government Chariman.

The same #Emma_Nwagwu is the same person who was Knåcking people's wife's inside Nsukka Local Government headquarters...
