Some of these folks have no life outside politics. I think eventually the pressure will be too much for matwale, he will either be fired outright or resign but rewarded with another appointment.

Yes he must take order from Musa because he failed to do his job properly and if he is not happy about it he can resgn and another Junior ex millitary officer in the rank of a full Colonel or a brigadier will be appointed as replacement.

It's all about the political will 📌💯, the minister is a ceremonial position. The service chiefs are answerable to the President. If the president empowers Musa, the needed change will be seen and felt🤷🏿.
