I woke up this morning with a different feeling of fulfillment… full of gratitude.

I am compelled to encourage my fellow ladies, especially our vulnerable teenagers even in this generation, that preserving yourself is worthwhile. For ages past and years to come the benefits truly outweigh the sacrifices, and with GOD’s grace, you can do it.

I was really really vulnerable during childhood but GOD graciously preserved me. Even as a youth I endangered myself occasionally but one thing that helped me personally was praying Psalm 23 whenever I had to visit any man which I avoided like plague. It probably strengthened me and sharpened my discernment.

There was a day I visited my friend’s brother in Port Harcourt. He tried to force me with loud music playing so shouting was just for headache. It was only GOD that saved me — even when he tried tearing my underwear, it didn’t give way. He suddenly pretended to calm down and said he wanted to get me something ‘special’ from the room. Instantly a still small voice told me, “Check the door.” I checked — lo, the door opened — I ran, I zipped my gown on the run. Only GOD made it possible for me to escape, GOD literally dragged me out 1Cor10:13

Looking back, the only thing I sometimes regret is how I ruled out younger guys completely in aunty vibes haha, and how I put all my emotional eggs in one basket in relationships that were not even defined. I was faithful to a fault.

I remember this amazing corper I met on a trip from Abuja in December 2018. We had a lot in common, but I dismissed him as a “younger brother”. Like I didn’t even entertain youngers on even platonic level at all.
Another time, in Enugu, a polite young man reversed on Pioneer Street to offer me a lift under hot sun, my mind started ringing Chibueze… if Chibueze hear this — village people really were on my case. Plus “yahoo boy” suspicion made me decline sharply. Yet they all left for good cos I stood my ground… they should have left earliest.

It hasn’t really been easy resisting the urge, but as a legit QUEEN, I’ve been intentional about subduing it, I mean I have so many goals on my neck, prioritized over temporary pleasure… I just ask myself ‘in the long run, would it add anything meaningful to my testimony or the future I’m building?

Through it all, I remain fulfilled and grateful. My life has been progressive, and I know GOD has a better plan. I cannot and will not settle for less — my husband must be a man who is ahead, who complements me, lifts me, and supports me becoming the best version of myself.

To my fellow ladies:
Preserving yourself is a great virtue. It is of inestimable value. Your purity is powerful, your future is precious, and GOD will reward your discipline.

So in the mean-time commit your energy to true worship, possessing the earth and its fullness 2Tim2:22… every other thing shall be added unto you.

Lol... I just want to sound manipulatively like woman..😂😂...if a man is not wise around them, they can push a man into depression and confusion..but a man with a solid plan. That can stand his ground against distraction can sail through..and first is don't force a woman attention, be it your wife or girlfriend, a woman nature is to love a man (if truly) unconditionally, so if she do, den you don't need to struggle for her attention..and sometimes aura for aura silently change some perspective..which, if I don't see your (wife)message waking up, without me knowing any reason(emergency)prior, I will save my good morning too., and if it takes 5hrs to reply my message I double mine to 10hrs or more then if it continues I might decide trying ghost mode for days..and peradventure she decides to leave the man in me continues..ND if you stay, fine..
