Credit goes to President Tinubu and his team for standing firm and not bending to pressure by people who would rather pacify Nigerians with lies and nothing else.
Inflation continues to reduce, the economy is growing stronger.
The same seriousness given to the economy should now be shown to insecurity.
We trust Asiwaju to do it and much more.

Stop looking for achievements where the is none.

For inflation rates, they were basically just rebased.

Throwing raw statistics at us without characterization only gives a spurious picture of economic improvement.

You have hidden the fact that those good indices are propelled by the REBASEMENT done by the NBS this year.

For real figures, experts like Rewane and Uwaleke have adduced adding 10 to the figures you copiously referenced.

However, the monetary policy team headed by Cardoso is doing a yeoman's job at reining in headline inflation and setting the nation on the path to economic recovery and currency stability.

The fiscal side seems to be the clog in the wheel of progress as the continuous unrestrained borrowing spree of this government tend to erode the gains of the monetary policies.

Re: The Economy Is Looking Green, After One Year — StatiSense by givedemwotowoto:
Didn’t I tell you guys last year that this government will take credit for reduced inflation due to extreme hardship and low purchasing power of Nigerians?

givedemwotowoto:
When economic activity slows down, inflation naturally will drop. It happened in the US towards the end of Trump’s presidency due to slow economic activity resulting from Covid.

With the high cost of living and extreme hardship in Nigeria, economic activity is beginning to slow down.

Inflation is expected to drop, and we all know that this government will use it as propaganda to try to create the impression that their policies are working

Notice the recent drop in import export? Traders are slowing down imports because retailers are struggling to restock and demand is dropping from consumers, but this government is already using this concerning trend for propaganda

Bunch of propagandists!

A fair assessment. The man, Cardoso, deserves his flowers. He is doing a wonderful job.
