Is the Apple Watch Era over in Nigeria? oraimo’s latest Nova 2 and Watch 6 are challenging the status quo by providing premium smartwatch features for the market , proving that you no longer need to break the bank to get a quality, functional, and stylish smartwatch.

The Nova Watch 2 is the “smart choice” for people who prioritize beauty, unique display and a premium quality built. I had to eventually ditch my expensive Apple Watch 10 series because the anxiety of daily charging in Nigeria wasn’t worth the stress, especially when the Watch Nova 2 gives me almost the same functionality with 20x the battery life for a fraction of the price I purchased it.

The Watch 6 on the other hand makes everything from navigation to checking texts seamless. It offers great data visibility for easy reading even in Lagos traffic. It also focuses heavily on communication. With Wireless HD Calling, it offers a stable connection that uses less battery. You can all your customers directly from your wrist with decent clarity.

Why spend ₦500k+ on a watch that dies in 18 hours when ₦50k gives you AMOLED + 20 Days Power? When the Watch Nova 2 boast a tested 20-days battery life on normal usage, you save a whole lot of money and still get extra battery that outlast NEPA outage.

When it comes to durability, they both share important durability features. They both have an IP68 Water and dust resistance. They both can be submerged in water up to 1.5 meters for close to 30 mins. It can be worn during heavy workouts without the fear of damages.

Both devices supports the oraimo Health app and comes equipped with comprehensive health monitoring sensors. They’ve both delivered on the promise on being built to last through their rugged finish and IP68 rating.

The Watch 6 has proven to be the ultimate daily diver for Lagos life while the Watch Nova 2 is designed for people with taste for affordable luxury tech.

There was an Apple Watch era? I'm just finding out. I will dole out the necessary funds for an Apple product. No other brand comes with their quality.

It doesn’t stop people from buying PS5s, Xboxes, traditional watches, perfumes and shoes. I don’t see why it will make any difference concerning Apple Watches. People using it is because of the high quality.

When you can get the more value for a lower price point, watch Nova 2 is obviously a better choice. I kinda think people go for Apple for the brand name 🤔when one should focus on getting more value.

I happened to come across an ad for the oraimo smart watches, if they deliver what they have stated on paper then it's a solid product to me. Apple has the class advantage over it though.

Truly affordable without breaking the bank. However, some would still rather go for their apple watch. All a matter of choice and preferences.
However, I'd stick with the one most affordable

One thing that's not mentioned though is that, for full functionality, productivity and integration an apple watch paired with an Iphone/IOS device gives the best experience. Hence, an Apple watch needs to be paired with an Iphone to be fully functional. The apple watch with IOS integration is just so seamless. One example, About a week ago, I got to the store and I realized I did not have my wallet with me when it was time to pull out my credit card to pay. I just double-tapped my watch and placed it near the scanner to pay with my credit card linked to the watch and that was it. Not sure if an Oraimo watch linked to my Iphone would have given me the same functionality.

There is something I still can't understand about all these smart watches. If you are as good as Apple why are you trying so hard to imitate them in your design?

Nobody will pick an imitation over the original

People who buy Apple products, do so as a Status/Class Symbol, not necessarily because of the intrisic value obtained from Apple products.
