Tight game but we grind out results. That’s all that matters for now.

We want run Merino down the way we run Hervertz last season. He deserves to be man of the match.

Rice is due for rest.

I can’t wait for Saliba to come back and I hope Mosquera injury is not that serious.

Odegaard, Martinelli, Madueke all played rubbish today. They really need to up their game this Dec.

I miss Trosaard for that left wing sha.
Fitness issues. By the next game they should be fully fit

Eze also didn't impress when he came on as sub, he was plying like he's struggling with fitness.

As for Merino, I believe when our injured attackers are fully back he will get his deserved rest. For now he's doing well.
I think I had earlier raised concerns about his body language and how he needs to step up or else he will have a hard time benching Odegaard. (even though that one get his issues too)

He doesn’t play to dominate and control games but then, I hope he gets better. If Hervertz could improve, so can he.

Also, look at Merinos work rate, it’s improving.

We need to start testing G. Jesus on that left wing pending when Trosaard comes back.

The Aston Villa game is another huge test for us, they’ve been on a good run of form.

To think that earlier in the season, they were at point in time bottom of the table.

What a remarkable turn around it has been for them.

I truly hope that’s the issue because Guardiola has been issuing subtle threat up and down. He understands that this period is critical for everyone and so, we can’t afford to slip up.

We need everyone to up their game.

What is wrong with Saka? Why is that rebound difficult for him to score again?
I expected you to call him out for being selfish, he has the chance to pass to Viktor earlier and he went for glory

Apari threat don't hold water, he should sort out his defence first

Surely we can't excuse Arteta from some of the injuries we're getting, we were up 4-1 against Spurs and yet Rice, Zubi and Saka stayed up for 90min same against Slavia, Leeds etc... When games are safe subs should be done early

Arteta should talk to saka, he is dropping sinker weekly
The ball he scored he should have square it to gyokeres, he could have missed the goal too

You're on point.
His body language and work rate summarize alot. The guy is still playing like a crystal palace player. I think he hasn't fully realized that more is demanded of him at a top club like Arsenal.

Well, let's give him more time. It seems he's still adapting to the pattern and style of play at Arsenal.

He was through on goal , I don't call that attempt at goal selfish at all.

What if he passes the ball to Gyokeres and he miscues? At least we've seen Gyokeres fumble with the ball at his feet in the earlier games of the season. Moreover, Saka was fixated on losing those two players marking him and didn't lift up his head to see Gyokeres' positioning.

One thing I think Arsenal needs to start doing against teams like Brentford who pack 5 defenders in their back line is for us to be shooting from outside the box.

Players like Zubi and Rice should be letting it fly from outside the box to score or force a rebound which can still lead to a goal.
Me need this budeying to return to epl football abeg. See how Chukwueze got 2 goals, giving pep a scare there. I miss Ramsey and Cazorla for this. We too like dey enter box and make shooting seem like taboo more and more. undecided

Odegaard, Eze, Merino saw space to shoot yet passed sideways. Nawa o

But we still can’t rule out the fact that he has experience winning the league.

On our part, can we say Arteta has learned from his past mistakes on losing out on the league?

Honestly! It was annoying seeing them pass round and round the pitch when they should be testing the keeper from outside the box . Xhaka in any of their positions would've scored a screamer.

Na rice be my main issue for now. Apart from those injured who else gives 100% from beginning to the end, except maybe Timber that has Ben White as back up.

Our left hand side has regressed in the last two games since Trosaard left.

Infact, I think our best attacking trio for now is Trosaard, Saka and Gyokeres.

True. My problem is that even Odegaard is inconsistent.

I am not scared of city this season I am more scared of villa, Brighton and Bournemouth
If we overcome those 3 we have no problems, 2 of the listed clubs beat city

That's another problem we're facing. Currently, he can't be relied upon for long.

They loved xhaka goals that year but they no wan replicate am. Pisses me off, esp Odegaard. Rice needs to tune up that aspect if he comes on. I trust Cala and MLS sha. Martinelli no dey shoot from outside again. Annoys me so much.

As in! This has been a recurring theme under him. Games are done but important players play 90 or more minutes.

Wow! They were actually flown to London to sign, I thought they're going to remain in Ecuador till they're old enough to join the team. Will they be playing for the youth team?

Abeg o, nobody should vote Arteta for manager of the month o. The award get one kain bad luck this season. The month Oliver Glasner won it, crystal palace nosedived and lost their unbeaten run. Ruben Amorim won it and Man Utd that had a spectacular month started fumbling again. Lets allow Guardiola or Maresca to win it abeg.

It's a voting award not performance based. Arsenal fans should sit this one out or vote Guardiola or Maresca
