Good morning everyone, I scanned my 2009 Honda Accord EX 2.4L K24Z3 engine with an OBDII... These are the results. Prior to that I noticed that my car had poor acceleration especially when I turned on the AC. Along the line it started burning my AC compressor. I got tired and decided to forget about the AC, but now I want to fix the AC coz of the dry season. Now I noticed my car consumes fuel, and also has low compression. Please guys what can I do to fix these problems

Benagro:You can get anything you need from him. However, in order to be sure and have a level of confidence in what you're getting, please tell him you'll collect a full refund of your cash if anything goes wrong, he doesn't like hearing that at all, that's why he sources for good parts especially for those who contacts him based on recommendations. Been using him for few years now and he has never disappointed me. The only time I had issues with him was a new ball joint I once got from him which didn't last long before getting bad and he gave a replacement for free which costs higher than the one I got. Just do your due diligence in engaging him. Thanks |

raphroye:The codes shows this engine have gone through serious works in the past. I won't advice you to spend further on this engine, because it has used its life span already. Any work you do on it now is just to buy you few months of additional life on the engine and it won't come cheap. Save up and replace the engine. |

Pls my brothers, my Honda Civic 2003 is struggling to move when slowed down or stopped. Meanwhile, the D light is blinking and after I scanned it, it is showing P0753 (shift solenoid A circuit electrical. Pls any advice or way-out. Waiting for your kind response. Thanks |
| Re: The HONDA Club by Cryomancer(op): 8:46pm On Dec 10, 2025 |
martins946:If that's the only code it's throwing, then you need to fix it. It's locally called "Gear Switch" I think the one that's on the top of the gear is the culprit here. |

Please how much is Honda accord 2008' gearbox? |
| Re: The HONDA Club by Cryomancer(op): 1:39am On Dec 15, 2025 |
Sagaciousd1:Just budget 600k for everything including workmanship. it's even lesser if you trade in your old gearbox. |

raphroye:What's the repair history on the engine and ECU? For the codes 1. You'd get that code if they've tapped a wire to send power to your ECU, especially if you had issues with starting the car in the past (flashing key signs) 2. System too rich is a symptom that needs further diagnosis to find out the cause. Could be anything, but have it at the back of your mind that your car is consuming petrol. 3. The 3rd code is a generic code. Could be an issue with the rocker arm and not the timing. Use a better scanner to pull out Honda specific code. 4. Socket for the temperature sensor on the radiator is not connected or broken and fan running constantly. All issues are fixable and does not necessarily mean engine is dead. For the compressor burning, confirm your AC thermostat is still working, and that your pressure line has not been welded at all. Any weld on the pressure line would kill the compressor over time. It's like running and breathing with a straw. |

Please what is the common faults to look out for when buying a toks Honda accord 2014 Model? |
| Re: The HONDA Club by Cryomancer(op): 10:37pm On Dec 27, 2025 |
Oboli007:I once experienced something similar to this issue. I'll advise you visit a competent rewire for them to inspect the fuses and connections directly from the alternator down to vehicle electronics. Also ask him to inspect any bridge in the electrical system. It took my rewire 2 days to detect the issue and in the end, only a fuse of #500 was replaced and the car came back to normal. I hope this helps |
| Re: The HONDA Club by Cryomancer(op): 10:41pm On Dec 27, 2025 |
ModJ1:No known fault with that car. The CVT gear in the 4cyl engine are a bit delicate and also have just a few reported cases of gear vibration after hitting 100k miles and above, and the case can easily be resolved by changing the torque converter. That car is a lovely car, no known faults associated with it. If you can go for the touring edition of 2016/2017 version, you will love it more. |

| Re: The HONDA Club by Cryomancer(op): 2:01pm On Dec 28, 2025 |
diabeticdeals:New OEM will be very scarce except you're ordering directly from eBay or other reputable sites. Most new ones you might find in naija are Taiwan or at best Japan, and they also last long too and quite price, if you find a good dealer. The toks too are very okay if you find a good seller to supply you a direct toks part. Your pocket may be the determining factor for whichever you might end up with. |
