When a teenage girl is abused, society rallies in outrage. Yet when a teenage boy is exploited by an older woman, the narrative shifts suddenly it’s “impressive,” “a flex,” or even “something to be praised.”

This is not empowerment. It is abuse.
This is not maturity. It is exploitation.
This is not consent. It is predation.

At 16, a boy is still a minor. His “enjoyment” or perceived skill does not erase the fact that he is being taken advantage of by an adult.

The double standard is glaring: we condemn abuse when it happens to girls, but trivialize it when it happens to boys. That hypocrisy silences male victims, normalizes abuse, and perpetuates a culture where men’s mental health and advocacy are dismissed.

Until we recognize that boys can be victims too, and that predators can be women as well as men, we will continue to fail half of our children.

This is not about gender wars.
This is about justice, protection, and humanity.

Female teacher in trouble over affair with a male student

A 33-year-old Zimbabwean Senior High School teacher who has been identified as Zvikomborero Maria Makedenge has landed in a deep trouble over an affair with a 16 year old male student.

In a room video that has landed on social media, the female teacher and the student can be seen getting intimate.

As seen the clip, the student was was happily engaging with his female teacher.

It has also been alleged that the incident happened inside the female teacher’s house after she invited the student over to help her with painting work inside her room.

It can be emphatically stated that the video was recorded with the consent of the duo citing the position of the camera.

It's always different for the Girl child. I remember when a male cousin started growing wings and coming back home late as a 17, 18 year old. Female cousin too thought she can get away with the same at that age. My uncle quickly addressed her one night that if he can take that from the boys , he can never tolerate that from the girls. She got the message tho.

A 16 year old boy is old enough to reject the advances of his teacher. Physically, he is even stronger and from the video, he wasn't raped.

However, people tend to raise alarm if an older man sleeps with a teenage girl because they mostly do it forcefully; even threating them with death. So, comparing both scenarios is absurd!

Abuse is Abuse by the law, once the law says something is wrong it is wrong, the boy's age saddly makes him the victim but what he does with that women is something one can only wonder if they are correct with he's age... Logical it looks like he was the one beating that woman up, it was her voice we were hearing all through, why he was practically raising her up when she fell down to get her in position again. We leave it to the law of the country and their court to judge.
