I know of statutory rape, but I think there should be exceptions to how some of these cases are judged. A boy of 16 may be a minor under the law, but his actions can be judged depending on the severity of his crime.

I have read in the news how some young men under 17 ganged up to rape a woman in her 30s. Would you dismiss their behaviours and not press charges against them because they are minors? Of course not!

In this particular case, those that watched the video said he was even hitting the woman. He is obviously hooked to porn and just practicing what he has been watching. With a good lawyer, that woman can easily get off the hook.
Boys of 17 gang raping a woman example doesn't fit in here.

It's the aftermath of a long period of exposure to underage sex that was seen in the video, that's not their first or second or third time. The 33 years old woman has taken his innocence by exposing him to intimacy before 18 and that's a crime and a bridge of contract- the parents pays you to teach him and nothing else.

Don't judge by that video, a lot has happened before then

I know that most women will speak from both sides of their mouth or better still rather avoid this thread altogether but as for the men saying sh***t, you're more than irredeemable.

Most men are terrible beings and our comments is a complete sell out. Just look at the way man are praising the boy child and some wished they were in his shoes.

Pathetic fellas.

This is not abuse. The boy just became a man early.
So are all the young boys that sneak to brothels for short time being abused by the prostitutes?
Yes sir. They are being abused by the prostitutes if they are obviously underaged and the prostitute is an adult.

Do you know there's something called statutory rape? Age of consent?.

As a 33 years old man if I sleep with a 17 girl who loves me and was even the one to seduce me and was even the one untop of me taking the lead, it's rape. It's same with a 33 years old woman and a 16 years old girl
Rape doesn't always have to do with force
How about if it can be proved the boy had been patronizing olosho steady?

This is abuse. The woman is a teacher who is supposed to protect ,guide and instill right morals into the boy. Her actions are unethical and irrespective of the boy's background or sexual experience she's not in position to be intimately involved with him.
Prostitution and teaching are two parallel occupations.

I can't believe we ( women) have to fight against girl child abuse and still spare time to educate you men on male child abuse. Phew!

A 16 year old boy is old enough to reject the advances of his teacher. Physically, he is even stronger and from the video, he wasn't rape.

However, people tend to raise alarm if an older man sleeps with a teenage girl because they mostly do it forcefully; even threating them with death. So, comparing both scenarios is absurd!
No it isn't absurd! They are the same! Abuse is abuse! If there were to be a confrontation the woman is stronger, it seem otherwise because she was in a lustful submissive state. It's like when a lady pushes a man to the bed with a finger are you saying she's stronger than the man?

That woman abused the boy, he's a minor! There are teenage girls who are sexually experienced and active before they were abused should we doubt or erase their truths because "they were experienced " ?

That woman should be punished!

Some of the commenters were regretting that no teacher abused them while in school. Just thinking of all the olosho money and wahala they could have saved

It's pathetic to say the least! Very disgusting how most men glorify sex yet they are the first to scream "sex is overrated ".

I read some comments on these thread and realised how far behind we really are as a nation.

Being a minor, she should be jailed. On the other hand, I don’t see her tying his hands to a chair and forcing him to. The boy seemed to be enjoying it. I don’t see him screaming for help.

When a teenage girl is abused, society rallies in outrage. Yet when a teenage boy is exploited by an older woman, the narrative shifts suddenly it’s “impressive,” “a flex,” or even “something to be praised.”

This is not empowerment. It is abuse.
This is not maturity. It is exploitation.
This is not consent. It is predation.

At 16, a boy is still a minor. His “enjoyment” or perceived skill does not erase the fact that he is being taken advantage of by an adult.

The double standard is glaring: we condemn abuse when it happens to girls, but trivialize it when it happens to boys. That hypocrisy silences male victims, normalizes abuse, and perpetuates a culture where men’s mental health and advocacy are dismissed.

Until we recognize that boys can be victims too, and that predators can be women as well as men, we will continue to fail half of our children.

This is not about gender wars.
This is about justice, protection, and humanity.

If men tell their story as children, women will realize what older men do to girls is child’s play compared to what women do to boys SAing them.

In Zimbabwe, 16 is the age of consent. So since you know more than the Zimbabwean government, you can take that high moral ground and stick it in your behind.

First ...Zimbabwe updated age of consent to 18 years old on Monday 15 January 2024.

Even if consent age is 10 years old or even worse ....The teacher will still be found guilty for abuse of trust, abuse of office, because power imbalance will always be established in cases like this btw teacher and student

Haven't you heard of cases btw senior and junior staffs in work places?? That's even btw two adults ...despite sex started with consent .it has been established over and again that the power imbalance makes consent technically under threat, fear or duress, either for loss of their job, poor appraisals, etc
Hmmm, so before 2024 Zimbabwe government no get sense abi? Morally yeah it is wrong but on a legal ground, it is a young adult enjoying himself. At 16, I had so much sexual energy and some of my mates were already exploring themselves. Accusing them of being abused when they did it with ladies older than them is crap.

You know a victim when you see one, in that video that boy is clearly not the victim. He might have probably done it countless times with his age mate.

Less not shift the goal post from the main issue which is terrible parenting.

In my days, even in my mid 20s, I was afraid of going close to a woman, talkless of touching.
