Those citizens are not as dissatisfied with their National teams, as Nigerians are with Super Eagles.
You would be satisfied with your team even if they lose, but you saw that they gave their best.

S/Eagles struggled against small teams like Lesotho, Rwanda, Zimbabwe etc & were very poor & erratic in their play.
Maybe you never watched them play, but many had high BP watching them.

That is football rivalry, Cameroon use to get over Nigeria during African Cup until we trash them 4-2 in a quarter final and that mark their end of triumph over the Super Eagles. And it could happened to the Argentina as well

The only two victories Super Eagles has recorded against the Argentines came in a friendly, when it matters most they have trounced Nigeria every bleeping time and I don’t see that changing in our lifetime. So don’t think Super Eagles could have defeat them had it been they made it to the World Cup and they happened to face Argentina

But if they finish 2nd or 3rd, they will meet a strong Team in R/32 which may be 50-50 match.

they are actually new comer to the World Cup this is their first ever but not new in fifa competition. Their first ever fifa competition was in Germany where they played against Nigeria and 10 nil defeat in the hands of Spain. That competition was FIfa consideration cup won by Brasil. They defeated Spain 3 nil in the final.
