Hello everyone, Car section has been a place of great knowledge for me over the years which is why I’m seeking your opinions on this step I’m about to take. I have been on the lookout for a fuel efficient car and after so many months of searching for a Toyota matrix, Honda civic and Hyundai Elantra, I was not able to see any that meets my criteria of sound engine, clean first body and perfect gear second hand. I finally saw a 2015 ford focus that ticks all the boxes, car is as good as brand new. I have inspected the car and all components are in perfect condition including the dreaded DCT gear that has lots of complaints. I am contemplating paying for it already but thought to seek opinions before going ahead. I need your advice please, is 2015 ford focus a good buy? |

Lalapie:Pls sir,avoid it for now. I am not saying it is not a good vehicle but in term of technical support from our local mechanics is scarce. For that toyota matrix, there is one I saw that look sound and I can check for you if you have interest |

Thank you for your contributions. I have made enquiries as regards technical support, I’m told parts can be gotten at Ojuelegba and ladipo. Bear in mind car will be within Abeokuta and Lagos so I’m close to source of parts and support. As regards the matrix you saw, I will be interested, kindly share details of model year and price. Please I don’t want a car more than two years used in the country. It also has to be accident free…. Thanks |
