Government doesn't install traditional rulers. All the state government does is present the installed monarch with his staff of office. And as for Tinubu getting involved, even he knows enough to understand that this is non of his concern. It's just unnecessary headache to get involved.. and by the way, he knows no humane will live forever.. Any mistake by him trying to interfere with something as deep rooted as tradition will be not be in the best interest of his family in the long run.. that whole debacle with an ex president insulting those traditional rulers, you are naive if you think it's swept under the rug just like that. Soon enough, the shield will be heavy to lift and eventually it will drop off, that's when the real consequences will start if they wishes it so. Government comes and go. But Monarchy has been existing for millennials and will still continue to do so even though the power of it's office is not compared to the government, but tradition still cut through all that.

Your naivety is legendary!! Nothing will happen to an ex president or anybody for that matter in whatever confrontation that they have with traditional rulers! What has happened to Obasanjo since then, what of the Kano state government, the British government for the massacre in Benin Kingdom, Wike for insulting a group of traditional rulers, the ENDSARS protesters who ransacked the Obas palace and took away his shoes and staff? All these stools are useless and powerless on their own, except the powers government ascribe to them. You can keep decieving yourself, but the government decides who mount any traditional stool except they're not interested. They can install and remove kings, and that's why traditional institutions are under the control of state commissioners or local government by virtue of our laws! Just one phone call from Tinubu will install KWAM1 and nothing will happen. You better wake up.
