Nepa get problem ooo.
Thank God I bought solar panels back in 2015,
My battery is 94% now ,
I need to charge fully before I go test him power

Exactly what she said 7-10year usage,
She also said their lithium battery are best quality, not grade B or c or that join join we Nigerian dey buy lithium cells dey joi to form one battery,
Imagine me buying tiger , Duracell, Tudor lithium battery join them together in a box eh?!
Their own is top grade batteries, she even replied me now that they have 300ah at the warehouse now, let the rich guys like una and saint2ace go buy that one
Who call my name?? grin Ceejay80s my brother how you dey? I don join the lithium gang for more than 4yrs now, bought my cells from China and built my pack myself back then, since then it's been an excellent journey, so welcome to the lithium club.

This ur thread na real discovery channel, the prices of the battery seems very affordable, na when you do capacity test we go know if it is worth it, but even 70-80ah at that price range is a steal especially with Bluetooth monitoring.

Well done bros...

Nice one again 👍🏾

These prices are really good.

We really need a capacity test to confirm that they deliver as speced.

Are you sure you are using the correct profile to charge it.

You need a charger that can take it to 14.6 and above to even confirm that the BMS is working properly and cuts off over charging.

My guy,
I am using my anjing, though the lithium switch didn't work for my lifep04, like dollarnaira said anjing charger is for 3s,
I don waka tire dey find charger today at arena and computer village, tomorrow I will try alaba,
But dollarnaira and saint2ace , which charger Una dey use,
My battery has not gotten up to 100% charge since I bought it, maybe cos I am not using the right charger but, I switched my anjing to common switch and set the knob to 14.6v to charge

No light now and this is what I am getting on my 22inch plus decorder and rechargeable fan

Reduced my fan speed and got this

Mind u, I came home today and my battery was 98%, not 100%
Before I left for work, I switched off the anjing charger and told my kids no cartoon till I get home, I no wan hear story, I only left the solar charger on it, but I set the charge controller to 14.6V
Abeg who knows more should throw light,
I still be semi itiboribo

Re: How To Create A Locally Made Inverter With Ease by Trippledots(m): 9:04pm On Dec 08, 2025
Nice one.

The cells look really well matched.

@saint2ace you built a pack? I'm in the process of building mine and top balancing is a challenge ni o.

I don't have a 3.65v charger with high amps, so I seriesed my cells to charger it up unfortunately one cell hit 4v+.

I now have them in parallel and need a charger at that voltage to fully charge them.

Would the swelling affect performance?

If your solar charger is getting you up to 98% then thats fine then.

I also have a smaller 12v LFP setup in another flat and it's the solar charger that also takes it past 14.6 on lead acid settings and I do this by making the solar controller do equalisation.

As for your Anjing, it should be able to take it to at least 14v if you put it on manual settings and leave it on lead acid switch.

These last screenshots seem to show that everything is fine, as charging to 100% is not really necessary but it would be nice to know if overvoltage protection on the BMS is working.

I don't use grid at all. Fully on solar.
Na u dey wahala yourself o. Use your Anjing as it charges as lifepo4. 14.4 and 14.6v na same. At 14.0 or less your battery is considered fully charged. No capacity above 13.7v. It takes just few seconds to jump from 13.7 to 14.6v. Remember, no be lead acid ooo because the capacity is from 13.3v and 12.5v during discharge.

If I told you you can use your battery now, you no go gree for battery wey don reach 90%.

use this 12v 20a charger to charge the cells to 3.65v each, it works surprisingly well

your battery is considered full if each cell gets to at least 3.45v, use this charger to charge it at 12v 20a, sellers on nairaland sells it at around 45k

Truly the anjing charges it, it's on 99% and the balance mode comes on

Re: How To Create A Locally Made Inverter With Ease by ceejay80s(op):
100% and the charging mode goes off,
I noticed the protection mode changed to Cell_OP. ON

That's too high chief, u sud really just do 14v or a little less for the battery safety. Its a lithium phosphate battery so doesnt need to get that high

Was just fiddling with the control section of my lithium battery app on my phone while I was In my room , on my bed ooo
I put the charging switch and discharging switch off,
My anjing charger stopped charging and my ups switched off automatically ,
I think say my ups don spoil and anjing don get fault,
I put on the switch from my phone and they both started working again

At the time it wasn't charging, what was the voltage? It probably was full already

No it wasn't charging at that time it was on
13.6v and at a time I rolled the knob to 14.0v and app on my way showing not charging, until pushed it to 14.4v or 14.6v

The bulk voltage was 14v ffl which it wud drop on its own to around 13.6. Battery is still full at this point. When u remove the charger and put load, it wud drop to around 13.2 or so which is normal for it.
