Nnamdi Kanu - The Judge Was Lenient by sumomoh101(op): 7:21am On Dec 05, 2025
An Igbo chief reiterated that Justice Omotosho was lenient and nice with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

He also said that Ojukwu regretted the war happened at all.

This man is saying the TRUTH!!!
Re: Nnamdi Kanu - The Judge Was Lenient by SmartPolician: 7:27am On Dec 05, 2025
That was exactly what I said. But Justice Omotosho is smart. He knows that NK was frustrated because his case was political.

NK shouldn't have decided to defend himself. That was a wrong move. His emotions came into play and he made the judge end everything once and for all. That judge was extremely fair!

The only thing Igbo youths know how to do so well is to ins..ult people for having a contrary view.

Thank you Chief for your patriotism and for helping the rest of us to see that the judicial process is being followed.

Please stop generalising, Truth be told MNK made mistakes, the major issue I have with his case is selective justice, why treat him differently from Fulani herdsmen, bandits and terrorists even though those ones have done far worse than MNK, because truth be told if the Nigerian government was just and fair in handling matters in Nigeria especially to the Igbos, MNK may not gain relevance.

If Nigeria was working the way it should would anyone think of Biafra?

Who wants to leave a country that is working ?

The major problem I have with all these MNK case is that his sentencing has not solved the problem of why he did what he did, so his sentencing might only end making the problem bigger.

Why is it that most Nigerian governments headed by the Islamic north and tribal south west hates solving problems from the root cause?

Sincerely ask yourself if the sentencing of MNK has solved the issue for the agitation of Biafra?

A judge who convicted a man for terrorism based on mere words alone.

Nigeria is a strange place. While serious countries consider terrorism to be acts on violence such as killings, destruction of lives and property, a Nigerian judge believes that terrorism is radio broadcast, threatening language and mere words.

Ok

Somebody that was supposed to be executed for his evil and macabre crimes against his own people, but the Judge was magnanimous and sentenced him to life imprisonment. The Judge was more than fair to the convict.
This chief in the video is very intelligent.
He refused to fall for IPOB propaganda.

I've since come the conclusion that Nigeria is difficult for Nigerians to manage. Those who don't know much about leadership at the moment are solving the numerous problems of the country to the best of their knowledge. They are doing a terrible job at it.

But that doesn't in any way mean that Nnamdi Kanu didn't commit any crime or justify paying ransom to Northerners while sentencing him. Like someone advised, this is the best time for Igbo leaders to insist that Tinubu must stop paying ransom to bandits, demand military action and ask for the prosecution of terrorism financiers.

Don't let evil become a general standard because everyone will pay the heavy price. The soldiers and policemen Nnamdi Kanu shared their posts on social media and celebrated their killin..gs are people's fathers, husbands, brothers and sons. Their only crime was joining an organisation that enforces law and order in the country.

Truly, the internet has exposed how empty many people are in this country. They have no direction and can be influenced by anything and anyone. They cannot think for themselves.

I've repeatedly warned that no single region can pull out of Nigeria. If the South East wants to achieve that, reach a deal with people with similar interests in other regions, especially the South South. If you try to do it alone, the military will overwhelm you and turn your region into a battlefield, destroying your homes and farmlands, raping your women, and disrupting businesses. This drags a region backwards.

Whenever I share this thought, I always receive insu..lts - which is the only thing they know how to do. I'm even surprised you didn't start with an insult. I guess you didn't because Nairaland has started cen..soring some words.

Show me the law Omoto.....

When it gets to me they turn the law upside down.

How can you judge someone with a law that does not exit?

God will pu#ish you now and forever.

So if the Igbo leaders demand for what you said and Tinubu refuses as other governments have refused to listen to the agitation of the Igbos for justice and equity, what should the Igbos do ?

The same you who is saying that what MNK did to the soldiers is wrong is the same person here justifying the killings and raping of women of Igbo tribe by the same soldiers for just asking to have their own country, so you are trying to tell me that it is ok for the military to do all of that and go Scott free while MNK doing revenge to the soldiers to be punished?

Now I am not here to justify any form extra judicial killings but why is your moral judgement lopsided ?

So you are telling me if the Nigerian government comes to attack my family(God forbid) for just asking for referendum I should seat down and do nothing?

Then lastly you talked about Igbos not being able to do it alone without the help of other ethnic groups, well I don't believe that...

Tell someone to explain what I wrote because you clearly don't understand it.

I don't have the strength for going back and forth.

The truth is you have no defense to your write up, Nigeria is where it is today mainly because people like you hate being explicit with the truth, same with majority of the Islamic north and majority of the tribal south west, you simply tell them the truth and instead of accepting it and act in accordance, they pick offense and fight the speaker, that's one major reason Igbos are hated by these groups of people, Igbos are usually explicit with the truth.

So I'm not surprised, I used to be a very strong advocate of one Nigeria till I saw these revelations and I knew Nigeria was not supposed to be one from the start, we are dealing with different ideologies here, ideologies that predate the almagamation of Nigeria and even the colonial era.

Nobody busted me. I only explained how things work in Nigeria - no text in my comment says I okayed it. I don't know why you people have a comprehension problem. That's why I told him to ask someone to further explain it to him. It's frustrating to take my time and write all that and still be misunderstood.
