Atiku Abubakar needs to take a hard look at the situation and read the room properly. As things stand, a Peter Obi ticket paired with a capable, politically marketable northern running mate would defeat a demystified Ahmed Tinubu well before noon on election day.

This attempt to posture as a coalition-builder while quietly advancing Atiku’s personal ambition is deceptive and disingenuous, traits Atiku has long been associated with. As I’ve stated before, the Obidient votes will not be exploited to smuggle anyone into power through manipulation or sleight of hand.
Atiku has joined the ADC along with Amaechi, Aregbesola, Elrufai, David Mark and others. Obi has not. They are all actively building the party in their states. Obi is hopping on podcasts and tweeting on X. Obi has lost ground across the South, Atiku has gained grounds in the North. Obi should go join a new party, support Tinubu or step down from the race. There's no free ticket in the ADC.

Lol, Peter Obi can not join you if you can’t promise him your ticket, he has never participated in a pry election, he lacks the capacity to organize, convince and mobilize people. That was why he joined Labour Party cos dey promised him free ticket. Since the days of APGA, na free ticket e dey ride on.

"We are stable. Within five months, we have offices in 27 or 28 states without a single political office holder. That’s a major achievement"

Pending when they start having political office holders then they start robbing the masses to build their party.
Re: Zoning Not On The Table For Now, So Make Up Your Mind - ADC to Peter Obi by Yemimovich(m): 1:32pm On Dec 07, 2025
Sorry, none of them all. Not even Obi that you believe has the popularity and general acceptance. They've all been caged in their delusional thinking, disagreement over choices, financial troubles and they've forgotten such choice is not generalized. Waste of money and time is their moto. ADC, PDP, LP and whatever and whoever are all on paper for weight checking. They should all retire.
Pierocash:
Then ADC is not ready to compete with Tinubu. If they want to stand any chance of winning and posing any threat of unseating Tinubu, Obi is the only option, this is not a debate.

The only Candidate capable of having equal popularity is Jonathan. Atiku is a banana compared to Tinubu.

ADC should continue wasting their time with Atiku

AMINDA:
If zoning is what's important, why then did Tinubu destroy the LP and PDP using Wike and Abure just to disenfranchise Obi and Jonathan? Why is he hell-bent on being the only Southerner on the ballot? The PDP already zoned its ticket to the South, why does he keep insisting that the party doesn't field a candidate? We all know the answer, the South didn't vote him in 2023. There would have been no talks of a coalition if he didn't go all out to destroy existing political parties.
This is the lie they keep feeding you. How did Tinubu destroy Labour Party? Labour Party has been having issues since the very minute it became known that Peter Obi may likely join them. Was it Tinubu that was causing the issue at that time also?
It is a shame that Peter Obi, a man who claims to know how to solve the problem of Nigeria, can not solve the problem of a political party that he belongs, but rather he is looking to jump to another party. Peter Obi has always been jumping around since the day of APGA, he has never in his political life joined others to build any party.

Hahahahahahahaha obi think the North are fools ba? Atiku will spend his time, money and resources to create a coalition and you think he will be so stupid and say oh obi come and take the cake oo ba? Una dey lay...

You Southern Nigerians go learn in a very hard way. Same template they used against our brother Gej, the North will start it slowly gathered some South got what they want they start born to rule maniac and Fulani go on rampage again and again. Now they have used obi, Dickson, Aregbe, Amaechi, ogbonaya, to start same game they used against Gej and we are telling you South wake up stop being foolish una say no. Una go hear word by force.

Obi and obidient body go rest now.
You’re deceiving yourself. Tinubu will teach North a serious lesson, you see that political lesson that Obasanjo taught them years ago , it is Tinubu that will complete it. Tinubu will win the next election, do his remaining 4 years and then like Obasanjo single-handedly select a Hausa man, not Fulani oh, to succeed him. He will decimate all those phantom political structures in the north, e go shock you. See ehn there are two politicians from the south you should fear, Obasanjo and Tinubu, they are never push overs. Tinubu already has the backing of 25 governors, and governors of other parties .

Tell your Obi to move to a party where they can easily hands over the party ticket to him like LP did for him in the last general election since he's the only one that can unseat the president.

This is a beer parlor talk

Anyone who is afraid of ADC primaries can NEVER defeat APc ,
Obi knows he can't win an open party primaries in Nigeria.
that's why he ran away from PDP before their primaries and labour gave him the ticket..

Tinubu will beat Obi hands down ,
SE and SS votes can't get him anywhere
unimaginable rigging more than the one in Rivers under Wike..

The only thing that can beat Tinubu is solidifying the opposition block..

That's how APc beat Jonathan...
sacrifices were made.. even Tinubu left VP position for Osibanjo because of his Faith,.

But Tinubu was at the forefront of that gang-up against the South, which eventually truncated the opportunity for southern Nigeria to have an unbroken eight-year tenure.
We will not forget.

Come 2027, it is not the turn of any region; rather, it is the turn of Nigerians to elect a competent individual who will rescue this country from the dungeon into which the Tinubu-led APC regime has sunk it.
Make una get real sense for once. Was Tinubu and Jonathan in one party as at that time?

No. The key takeaway is clear. Obi should make up his mind. He can't continue to parade himself as a member of the coalition while undermining it. No one insists that he must be a part of the coalition. Obi has already lost some ground in the SS, SW and the NC and he has lost those grounds to Tinubu. There may even be voter apathy in the SE if he insists and runs solo. On the other hand, if Tinubu has lost any ground in the North, he has lost it to Atiku. The ADC will conduct a primary. That is non-negotiable and it's ticket will not be zoned. Obi should do what's in his best interest. I personally want him to run solo. It will create the perfect scenario for the election to go into a run-off because Tinubu will not get the highest votes on the first ballot.

Repeat of PDP's mistake of 2023.
ADC wants to sack a president from the south. And with aged Fulani, Atiku.

ATIKU is still walking for APC.
Atiku and Tinubu were foundation members of APC. The ADC is just a subterranean plot to enhance Tinubu's 2nd term.

The Key thing I could deduce from what Bolaji Abdulahi said is: Obi is need to build the party, but Atiku is the potential Candidate. So Obi should jettison zoning and embrace building the party for Atiku to run.
Does that make any sense?

No Be Juju Be Dat?
exactly.. they re indirectly telling him they only want his popularity in ADC to support Atiku.
