Coming after GEJ was his best chance but he wasn't patient
AMINDA:
Would you have rather he snatched it, grabbed it and ran away with it? To contest an election and lose honourably is not a shame. It's just an exercise of democracy. Atiku has paid his debts and he keeps no grudges.

Atiku is the biggest loser as a Nigerian politician since 2015. Not even GEJ. Man was in the best position as a northern PDP stalwart to take over from GEJ in 2019, yet he allowed Buhari and Tinubu to deceive him in 2015, joining them at the APC. Yet after using him to achieve their aim, they frustrated him out of the APC. Thereby paving the way for Tinubu to take over from Buhari. Atiku is not articulate at all. Just throwing looted money around. He should quit deluding himself thinking he will be president one day. His time has passed.
You nailed it at the emboldened.

Imagine the amount of money Atiku must have wasted trying to become a President. ... Just Imagine. Meanwhile all he needed was to allow GEJ complete his 4 years.

How?!! You smoke something?

Jonathan can ONLY be president. If ADC get sense, they should make either him or Peter Obi the presidential candidate. Atiku should play the role of "Kingmaker". He appears too old too.

Peter Obi/ EL Rufai is the game changer. Anything outside that and TINUBU continues. Welcome to more misery.

Na obi and obidient I dey laugh. Atiku used them wallahi.

I like silent people who use their common sense than just being lousy on social media.

Atiku planned it well and deliberately make sure he enticed obi and his
Co-wanderers to key in to ADC coalition then launched himself and dumped them.

Obi and obidient, ntoor!!! How market na?

And for atiku oga or papa na hin I go call you, we don tell you if you can be quiet for Buhari to ruined Nigeria for 8 good years without pim from yu simply e be Fulani like you same way Tinubu must do 8 years either you like it or not it's non negotiable so you go still run back to that your Dubai once more time and return in 2031 anything out of this na child play.

He merely exercised his right to vie for office. Atiku has never sought to undemocratically perpetuate himself in power, neither has he tried to use his position to destroy all opposition parties so his party can be the only one on the ballot as we are currently seeing today. Atiku is a democrat with an ambition to govern Nigeria, and that is not a crime.
did he criticize his boss Obasanjo when he destroyed AD and ANPP in 2006?

Atiku should go and beg Jonathan to be his running mate.
Are you being funny?!! In what universe does a former President become running mate to a mere former VP?!!

Atiku is far beneath Jonathan nationally and internationally.

Jonathan would been the best for this country. Good man long live. Anytime anyday I owe u my vote
Please, don't encourage him. A good name is better than gold and silver.

God rescued him from the lion's den. He should not go back. The country is 20 times worse than in 2015. The poo to pack now is too heavy. GEJ shouldn't have to do it.

You know obidients are the most mumuish group of fans in the world. Anyone can deceive them, just tell them you hate Tinubu and the Yorubas, they will follow you, even if you are traveling at the speed of light to hell grin grin grin

Atiku played obi to join his coalition, in a bid to stylishly destroy obi's political career cheesy

Imagine Atiku going through all this wahala and then later step down for the aguluhuh

Now the agulu does not even know which party he belongs to. He is in ADC and he is in LP grin

I bet it's because he hasn't been in a position where he can influence INEC to declare result in his favour. You never know.
You're completely wrong. It doesn't take so much descerning to unravel a gentleman and democrat. Atiku is the most vilified politician in Nigeria today yet he doesn't engage in any undemocratic or underhand dealings to attain power. A very tolerant and civil politician.

If he indeed wanted to grab power using everything at his disposal-wealth, connections etc, he would have become president.

However, 2027 is his time. He'll become president.

Atiku should relax until after 2027 before we know if we are going to allow fulani to rule us in this country again.

They always drag us back with their inhumane, archaic and moribund policies.

Why don’t you provide details of how he was frustrated out of APC?

Meanwhile, are 200 million Nigerians not the biggest losers since 2015 when Tinubu packaged his expired soldier as APC change messiah?

What changes have we seen apart from extreme poverty shege and worsening corruption as well as insecurity? This is the result of cluelessness and incompetence among APC leaders looters.

thisweekng:
The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy Chief Olawale Edun has said the last time Nigeria’s economy looked stable was about a decade ago.

He made this statement during his maiden press conference as Minister of Finance where he outlined President Bola Tinubu’s vision, agenda and strategy for the economy.

He said, “I think as we all know, we are not where we should be. The economy is barely growing above the rate of population growth.

“But it was not always so, and I think in trying to look at the way forward, if we now have a situation of slow growth, double-digit inflation, weak/depreciating exchange rate, as well as security concerns that are resulting in an economy that is not growing and not taking Nigerians out of poverty.

“If we think back to the last time when the economy was stable- when it was growing, when inflation was low, and the interest rate was affordable, that period was about a decade ago. Growth was about 6% in 2013 and 2014.”

Agreed that he is within his right to vie for the highest position in the land, one would have expected that as a former number two citizen of this country, he would have learned from experience to know when and how to achieve his ambition.

Considering the fact that he has been contesting for president since 1993. I repeat, Atiku is not articulate and strategic.
You are correct that Atiku is not a brutal politician since he didn’t seize the 2003 opportunity of northern pressure to make Obasanjo a one term president like Tinubu made Jonathan, thereby ending 16 years of PDP privatisation and deregulation prosperity.

2003 was the first time that Buhari asked us for the job of president.

What can 200 million Nigerians do to make the two men work together now, so that things can be different for Nigerians huh

Different from the disaster of Oshiomhole’s Assembly of Past Criminals, APC since 2015!

May Day: Hunger, unemployment, insecurity real— Tinubu

According to him: “The theme demands our collective attention and serves as a stark reminder of the need to create an environment where every worker feels safe, valued, and empowered to contribute to the growth and prosperity of our nation. As your President, I assure you that this administration is committed to creating such an environment for the common good.”

On the economic hardship, he noted that while it is a global phenomenon, its effects on Nigerians are particularly severe.

Tinubu said: “I am aware of the peculiarities of the economic hardship Nigerians face—rising living costs, hunger, insecurity, unemployment, and the loss of livelihoods. These challenges are real and demand definitive solutions, which I am poised to address as your President.

But Atiku is not a smart politician, one of his best chances in 2023 to win, he lost it woefully to miscalculation and foolishness. There is no way he can get President Tinubu out of Aso Rock. And I'm sure he himself knows this, he is well aware who President Tinubu is, they have been together for a long time.
