CPL Suleiman Musa Demoted to Constable for Disobeying IGP & Presidential Orders

CPL Suleiman Musa, F/No: 517077, serving at 45 PMF, was caught escorting a VIP last week without proper authorization.

As a result of this act of indiscipline against lawful orders from the IGP and the President, he has been demoted from Corporal to Constable.

Disobeying the igp’s order’s punishment is demotion and disobeying presidential order is dismissal,the officer is supposed to be demoted and dismissed…what about the boss that assigned him to the VIP?

A police force should know its personnel, their duty posts and their whereabouts. The ones on leave shouldn’t have their guns. If not eye service why are they mounting checkpoints to arrest their own men? You are the ignorant and arrogant one for your response.

Everyone needs Police protection especially the poor. The rich also need Police protection but not personal protection from our Police from our commonwealth.

Those police escorts make a lot of money daily. They can resign and become private security.

Nigerians attach pride to Government Police because it boosts their privileged status.

They mounted checkpoints to catch doing it without authorisation or doing it as an illegal duty

There must be something wrong with information dissemination within the Nigerian police

IGP will give an order, civilians will be aware of it but you see policemen flaunting such directive.
For example, the no search of phones has been a standing order for long but you see policemen contravening the order.


Now, a whole presidential directive, and this one waited until he was used as the official no. 1 policeman to fall foul of the order just because of kobo-kobo.

He'll be the laughing stock of his unit on Monday
